Our critters are proud To speak up, dissonate; They think they sound great. Are geese scared away? Not landing today? Too much hollering In our holler? Wait till spring!

Love From Afar 2-8-25 Yesterday, Friday I streamed all or part Of four old Live Streams And the kangaroos! Today I watched six hours of the daily stream, straight, Though I did take off Half an hour to garden And mow half my lawn. Now I watch the replay From where I left off. I take this as proof I do love alpacas. That has been questioned. Would they love me back? My friend's camelids the Girls Were wary of me And not food driven. Love is not just being mobbed, But respect, toleration. They are unaware, For I am not there, Just a camea, a ghost, AND that let me share Their lives, so full, WIthout distortion. All stays in proportion.

They never all lie down at once. Someone must stand guard. This is one reason we can never have just one alpaca: one alpaca can never sleep. It must be forever on guard.

Iva Banik the artist was tickled you liked her kangaroo and goat. She gave me a litle drqwing of a little mouse. The mouse is Mus musculus, or Mouse little mouse. Musculus can also mean muscular as in Balaenoptera musculus, the immense Blue Whale. So Mus musculus can mean Mighty Mouse!

Lives for a Life 2/7/25 I wonder if all The animals that I spared, Not eaten nor slaughtered Will speak up for me When I reach the Rainbow Bridge. Fallow Deer 2-7-25 Why not keep Fallows As Christmas Deer? They come in all colors And they can be tame. They have great antlers And they like treats. Imagine a herd Against the snow.

I am glad you caught it when the camera was turned to the wall. Your alpacas are much politer at table than some I have known. No Voracious Vortex! Someone not you turned the camera again.

Do gray alpacas turn white with age like some horses?

Sometimes the other hembras form a protective ring around the one giving birth. So you worry another hembra, perhaps the boss, will steal the new baby?

Have you had trouble with a Boss hembra trying to steal a cria that is not hers? A to z Alpacas had a video of this a couple years ago.
