@@state_interceptor have caught em multiple different reefs but nine mile and surrounding reefs is a good place to start. Week days and when swell is up pretty good time to get out due to less boat traffic. Have caught em at reefs south, west and north of nine mile and at nine mile itself too. The fish on this day all came of one reef, for what ever reason that reef was firing. Not willing to name a spot like that on the internet but just get out there and troll as much as you can especially april time of year and you will be in with a good chance if you put the time in

@@dylanrolton5401 yeah mate, I seriously have no idea how it didn’t end up worse, it was so nuts mate, such a psycho fall. I seriously thought all of his arms and legs coulda been broken. He obviously got pretty injured but how hectic the fall was man he was very lucky the outcome wasn’t worse. Had a lot of respect for the little guy handled it all though, he was a trooper!!

@@thequarterlifecrisis4003 yea everyone said that. I was out fishing and got a phone call just after dark saying that he was going to hospital then a few hours later when I get home I seen him all bandaged up and that then I got told what happened and I was like jeez

@@mitchellholdsworth8582 bloody oath brother. Buckets def not a dhu spot. Just was holding that one particular day for some reason. Been 5 times and only was dhu there once. So fun the search mate. Wicked you found a little gem. Yep I agree. Found a tone of marks in close. Almost everything not holding but no doubt would be some gems in amongst them. Ever got dhu at the shelf?? I’ve only fished the shelf at Bremer and Denmark so far though and no luck finding dhu out there

@@mitchellholdsworth8582 thank you brother!! We catch leather jackets over east where I grew up but no where near this size. These ones seemed massive but now I realise it’s sorta the norm in these Bremer grounds! Can you believe I was pretty excited to catch the first one. That excitement wore off very very quickly 😂😂😂

@@ryantweddle6155 thank you mate, yeah I had an oil alarm coming on every now and then and asked them to service and check it over. This wasn’t in Esperance or Bremer btw. They serviced and said to use it and if gets worse take it in somewhere for more examination. This vid was the next trip out after that. I took it back there and they took it apart and said it was the oil pump pick up that had snapped. Was up for new motor then!! Not mentioning names but they were good when I took it back there at least. I was a bit stuck so they ended up getting a new motor sale out of me but at least I think they gave me a pretty good price!

@@enjay8950 thank you mate, oil pump pick up pipe thing at the base of the motor had somehow snapped so no oil circulating through the motor. Wrecked main gear bearing. Ended up requiring full motor rebuild or new motor. Motor was starting to get old so opted for new motor. Bloody thing haha Bit of a hurdle but I’ll try talk a bit more about this in the next vid. @@Timbuctoo yes mate beautiful area, I’m over west atm. Good fishing over here too but the beauty of the reef systems over there on a nice day is hard to beat. Endless reefs to explore!! Hope you enjoy it when you get up there mate

Hi Al, thanks for commenting mate. Good to hear from you! I pick my partner up from Perth airport today and we will make our way north. I will reach out as I get up there if it feels like we might be in similar areas. Would be good to catch up over a nice feed of fish 🙌
