I gave up on trad docs a long time ago, mostly due to things like fibromyalgia. Now I try to eat really clean, take beneficial supplements and cbd-thc has been a game changer.
It would be very helpful if websites that are being referred to were posted in the comments for those of us who have to lay down and listen to and aren't able to easily jot them down for later access. Thank you for sharing this information and I will try to share it also.
Can you refer me to someone like yourself who has an office in my zip code area, 30024, Suwanee, GA?

I'm just loving the podcast regarding fibromyalgia Soo information thanks alot Can fibromyalgia cured or reduced by stem cells ? Hope you reply mam 🙏
Similar to Dr. Chadwick, my fibromyalgia symptoms began after being treated by a chiropractor I had never been to before, the day after I was rear ended from behind at a stop sign. I had received chiropractic treatment for many years but had moved to a new area. I believe he tore something in my neck, it burned and was so painful. I was never the same since then. This was 1998 and it took over a year to get a diagnosis. When I heard Dr. Chadwick mention the words, tear and neck I immediately connected it to that day.
Have you tried the peptide BPC-157 on Fibro Patients?
I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was a child back then they called it hyperactivity disorder, but I’m now being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and I wonder if there’s some early correlation that we can see as an indicator of things yet to come, could be flagged as a possibility of this happening in later life?
Suboxone made 4 of my teeth fall out. It causes tooth decay. Be warned. And didnt work for my pain but my pain dr said the PCP didn't have me on the right dose either. There is a class action suit for the tooth loss in patients.I think suboxone is a scam for opioid phobic Drs. Opiods work for many chronic pain patients and they don't misuse them.
I agree and good luck everyone watching.
I was not wanting antidepressant but once I started to give in to them I started to feel more like myself
Tami when you said that you were in remission does that mean just from a flare or from fybromyalgia itself? That sounds like heaven!
TBH when my doctor told me she considered me to be in remission for several years now, I was a bit stunned. The reality is that I have not experienced any fibro pain or symptoms since New Year's Eve 2018. It's not just being out of a flare. I have had no symptoms for six years. 💜Tami
What do you do if your job requires multitasking??
Make lists, this is how I handled 25 years of teaching 😊
Very good discussion. My mom had ADD or ADHD and I have been wondering if I have it too. My challenge is being able to make and keep an appointment to have it checked out. I get overwhelmed a lot and freeze up. I will take the first step and contact my provider. Thank you
I appreciate your discussion on the topic of Fibromyalgia. I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis & low positive Lupus. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙏🏽🙌🏽💙🙏🏻🙌🏻
Thank you! Have FM brain fog since 1990 auto accident, then Covid brain fog. Comes & goes. 🙏🏻 Sleep meds, but still tired.
Fog is like being in being in a trance- can't concentrate!
My Dr used to have me cut naltrexone in half and crush it and ad to water to take it so it was cheaper.
I was diagnoses with fibro shortly after having transvaginal mesh implanted and then partially removed. I dont have many of the symptoms and i dont want to believe its a proper diagnosis. I have tried it all and still hope to find another diagnosis and cure. I am going to Turkiye yo see a doctor and hoping they find someone different.
I had Covid and that same month my tongue started tingling, I had a nervous breakdown, and then a couple of months later, I got hit with fibromyalgia…
So much of the focus is on pain management. I would love to know how to get rid of the flu-like, debilitating fatigue. That is what holds me back from working and enjoying life.
How can I make an appointment with Dr. Chadwick in clinic setting?
I love the idea of music therapy and am glad research is being done in that area.
i also like hot water but the best is a hot springs with high sulfur water. This can be done with a hot tub by adding a small amount of elemental sulfur to the spa filter in a sock.
Looking for that powerful connection 😢
Thanks Dr. Clauw,, you are much kinder about everything than you were years ago!!
It's caused by radiation!
Physical therapy and exercise for myself can make me far worse to the point that my fibromyalgia pain spreads and triggers a migraine. This is a serious situation and can lead to a hospital visit. I love to exercise though. I certainly have tried to just “change my mind” and stop thinking the way I am so that my pain stops. It never works either. Oddly micro dosing psychedelic mushrooms helped “change my mind” but not to the point I could avoid flare ups that lead to a day in the bath tub or a trip to the ER. But some. What seems to help most is massage therapy once a week. Acupuncture every two weeks. Chiropractic care once to twice a week. Muscle manipulation once a month. And drugs like anti inflammatories, Valium, low dose opioid with Tylenol. I also learned after having 7 surgeries in the last two years that ketamine really helps better than any opioid. Sadly it’s not “standard” for pain so I can not get a prescription from my doctor. I can however go online to any of these mental health services that have a questioner that anyone can fill out and get a doctor they’ve never seen give them a script for ketamine to be sent to your home. To me that’s crazy. Give patients what they need not what you want them to need. As far as diet I found that cutting out processed foods makes a huge difference. Juicing in the morning and all day gives you the energy you need to continue to stay active but not give you so much to trigger the inflammation that makes this pain worse. Seafood and raw vegetables and fruits are far best. As far as opioids go I find it sad that you think a medicine that helps is not something to use. Powerful opioids are too strong and not needed. The addiction that comes with them makes them unhealthy. That being said a low does of a weak opiate absolutely helps. It’s actually EXACTLY WHAT OPIATES ARE GOR. It’s sad that a nation of junkies have ripped a MEDICINE that is clearly needed away from the people who need it. I lost my god sister to the opiate epidemic. At the young age of 19. That said what happened to her does not take away the need on the part of pain syndrome patients need for a medication that is completely developed for pain. Everything when overly used is no longer healthy. Tincture can make a medication out of arnica that really helps with broken bones and trauma to the body. You take a few drops under your tongue. If you drink a whole bottle every hour it’s an addiction and unhealthy. Same thing for so many other things. It’s ignorant not to see the proper use for people who actually need it. Valium is not the standard. I was given it about 20-25 years ago when it wasn’t considered unhealthy. I was taken off it and then went on to try every single type of muscle relaxer and anti depressants possible. They made me swell in my face, gave me kidney pain, messed up my hormones that aggravated my endometriosis. I had hallucinations. I had the loss of taste. I had nightmares and panic attacks that I never had issues with before. I had depression that I never had before. I was healthiest not on those type of drugs. I thought baclofin would be a good one and it seemed to work, until my face swelled so bad I couldn’t open my eyes and my kidney felt like I was passing a stone. I still don’t get vellum prescribed because I find I can stay awake and alert on low does opiates and they help in the 8-10 hour windows more than anything else. I tried those good old patches for pain and the adhesive made my skin swell and itch to the point my skin would bleed. You see I’m a highly sensitive person. I have reactions to almost everything. Even opiates. If I have a strong opiate I can’t see and I get nauseous and it’s all from the migraine it gives me. I end up needing anti nausea medicine along with my imatrex upon my visit to the ER. It’s horrible. When it comes to medicine you should give the patient what they need. As far as non-drug therapies doctors and hospitals should really start to push harder for insurance companies and politicians to cover those as first line of care. I have serious muscle spasms that cause a massive amount of pain and I have found that much like my migraines Botox stops them. This cuts my overall pain in half. I had to learn about this for those areas that are not migraine related by paying for them on my own in a skin care clinic. Not a doctor’s office. The doctor who was supposed to meet with me about it cancelled 3 times on me and told me to go to a pain clinic and get pills. More pills. I was on two patches and 5 drugs for my pain. I got the Botox and cut my patches out completely and cut my 4 medications down to as needed. That’s a huge difference! But this isn’t “standard” care. CBD oil massages aren’t standard care either but it helps so much it’s not funny. CBD gummies help as well. I would have a grower bring me bags of large leaves for juicing. It helped so much it wasn’t even funny. What health food store can we buy those from? They can’t get you high. Not at all. A person would need too much concentrate of those leaves before it could get a person high. It wouldn’t be cost effective. Might as well just go buy it. Food should be one of the first therapies as well. Why isn’t a nutritionist covered? It makes no sense. Proper nutrition can prevent so much disease and health issues yet it’s not covered. If more people were eating clean and healthy there would be less need for mental health care as well.
Sugar/starch causes pain in me.

I’m a 66 year old woman previously VERY active athlete, clean eater diagnosed with fibromyalgia 6 yrs ago at Mayo Rochester. 2 yrs ago diagniosed with motor sensory polyneuropathy. With in the 6 yrs I’ve had 2 fist full of other autoimmune conditions such as: costochondritis, IBS, interstitial cystitis, migraines, occipital migraines, osteoporosis to name a few. An ongoing and progressive symptom I have that I can’t seem to get an answer on is I have what I call attacks with an electrical build up that expodes into full body muscle spasms with involuntary tremors. With these explosions no matter what part of my body it originates it travels to my head into debilitating vertigo. When I feel an attack (most at night) I try deep breathing etc. but it often doesn’t help. Once I know it’s going into full blown attack I’ll take 10MG Baclofen which is very hard to swallow. If that doesn’t calm me with an hour all choke down another (thank God they are tiny.) I’ve had ALL the test: MRI, eeg, blood work & more run by my current Florida neurologist with NO answers other than….I don’t treat fibromyalgia 😢. The only other thing I take is CBD oil or gummy before bed to relax me. My hubby is the BEST care giver. He knows just what I need during these attacks. Raised bed (head), lots of pillows (I have to keep my arms & legs straight or the joint pain magnifies 10 fold), ice chips, weighted blanket to hold me down, gently massage (or NO). My question is….are full body muscle attacks a symptom of fibromyalgia and/or polyneuropathy? Thank you for ANY advice💜
Hi Doctors and Swing Care: perhaps I can fill in the missing details - the answers aren't unknown, it's just that few people have knowledge of them. I believe I have a good understanding and explanation of Fibro that I can contribute to helping you understand this simply. My experience? Well, since 2011, I have personally helped over a thousand people recover, typically in demonstrations in front of audiences of students learning how to help people remove their own chronic pain and conditions. And having trained over 1,750 practitioners that includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists and a few neurologists! I wrote up the theory I and all my student put into practice regularly, I provide this free, not even needing to give an email. Several people have even written to say they got better just from reading it. I guarantee if you have Fibro you will totally recognise my description of how it starts and why it can go away - totally, I really don't believe in managing pain when it can simply stop being produced once you have the message. See for yourself at oldpain2go.com/meandfm. What you do about it after that is up to you, but you will certainly understand the illness and can start your own journey of discovery and recovery that can be incredibly quick. This weekend I demonstrated in front of some students, helping Liz, who had fibro since 2006 and she left totally pain free an hour later. Do not despair there is hope for you once you understand. On Sunday I fly out to Amsterdam as an exhibitor at the International Association of Pain 50th Anniversary Congress, where I will be explaining this to many of the 6,500 top pain specialists and scientists in the world, so hopefully many more pain professionals will understand how best to help you.
