I will tell you exactly what I do. I can easily defeat Erlang! When you get halfway to him, use the fan. Charge focus while the fan is breaking his shield. This process should happen within four counts. Do not attack him before his shield breaks! Count to four. Hit Erlang on the fourth count with a charged attack. Next, immobilize him. Hit him while he is immobilized with spinning staff attacks. Then use apramana bat to freeze him. Hit him with more staff spins while he is frozen. For your next phase, do the same thing you did in your video, except when he comes down with the red lightning, hit him with a charged attack while you are in cloud step. Next use pluck of many. For final phase, repeat what you did in first phase with the fan, immobilize, and freeze, except hit him with combos after charged attacks. You will defeat him a lot easier using this method. I am sure of it!

You forgot the Spikeshaft Staff for the Spell Binder pre-buff. It also adds Max Mana.

@@elitefireman yeah. You saw coupe giants in and outside of thunderclap temple right?. There is one to the left of longevity road shrine. You equip the golden carp then kill it. It will drop golden spikeplate. It’s not far from the place where you can kill Turtle treasure to get the skull of turtle treasure headgear and wine worm.

No actually this was my fourth time beating the game I didn’t beat him the third time and didn’t get the last unlock

The true question which one is worse i struggled with erlang for 2 days beat him yesterday and now im at sage broken shell

@@brandonsupreme8380 Definitely needs nurfing from NG+ 3/4 or we should get a buff. I've read somewhere every cycle they jump up Think it was 5 or 7% In damage done Damage reduction Resistants to banes.

@@lumina77 its been a while I don’t remember

I found out that the Fuban Staff (weapon) and the Golden armor set are really good to fught against Erlang Shen. The staff has high crit chance which really help me to finish the Erlang Shen faster. The armor set give me more amount of Qi on crit hits, therefore the fan cameback to me real fast. I used this set for NG+++ and the fight was quiet easy. no medicine, no tricks, just dodge and attack, almost no spell cuz i just use cloud step for couple of time. You can try this. Now I'm just stucks with the Great Sage Monkey (mainly the second phase, he is so tanky)

For the great sage, I would recommend using life saving strand, guanyin’s willow leaf soak, life preservation orb. By now you should have the option unbegotten from his mind relic. That gives you chances that your life strand May not be expended.. and continue to revive 4-6 times sometimes. Continue to attack n dodge will eventually beat him.

Hard? Nah he’s not hard it all depends on the person I actually use the full bullgoat set to beat him on my third playthrough it’s really just practice and muscle memory after awhile.

I do enjoy fighting Erlang and broken shell Wukong. Yes he’s not if you know his Movesets and dodge. Counter strike/resolute strike and see through can be very satisfying to perform.

@@prashantk807 unfortunately yes but for the most part he is the hardest. I think that due to the game being reduced to six chapters we missing items to help us but the gear I use he me alot

Every run u have to do the secret bosses to fight him im currently on my 4ng+ because I want to unlock the last relic cause I beat the game and started a new journey skipping Lang

I’ve fought him 3 straight true ending plays in order to fully unlock 6 relics abilities. The 4th play I didn’t bother to fight him, just broken shell sage in chapter 6.

If you pop the remigration pill, you can extend your life further. I used the same spell life saving strand combined with azure dome to fight Wukong. I used azure dome and revived 3 times plus another 4 times of my own life to stay in the battle and won. Remigration pill used right after the first transformation completed. Used guanyin’s willow leaf as one of your soak and life preservation as one of your curio.

When you start that section you can go left and up or right and up. That's simply the exit from whichever side you didn't take, so skip it, and continue to checkpoint. Both sections mirror and both end up at that checkpoint

yeah its challenging but you going to get just keep going at it. I hope this video helps you

If you guys go right and spam supers you guys should be fine and when you get to the boss farm revives before damage phase

I too was stuck here.. I wonder what the legit button is? I had a hell of a time and got stuck numerous times due to mobs not spawning to open doors. Thank you.

The Max level will be 23 and the base damage is 44 with +40 fire damage when leveled up. You could get more damage with specific skills. I am working on a build now. stay tuned
