You can start by getting twists and leaving them to loc or pay someone to install instant locs or microlocs(with interlocking) for you
3 yrs in, my FREEFORMs are in the middle of my back yet am still waiting for my magic year when i can have a bee hive bun at the top. I still love watching these inspirational videos!

I love locs so much.. I find it more unique to each individual.. So gorgeous!
Is it better to start your locs off with coils or two strand twist?
Either or hun it doesn't really matter. I started my locs (I've since cut them off) a few years ago using the faux locs ( with extensions method) and they came out beautifully. Start them however you feel just remember to get a loctician or someone who knows how the process goes. Consider what parting system you want and how thick you want them. You can of course start them on your own. Patience is key. ❤

They are thick,I'm loving the process so far,I finally found someone that does them great,and who can instantly loc as well. So we shall see how my journey goes. I appreciate your feedback.🥰💯❤

Thanks for this video, in general I can’t seem to find people with thick locs so I feel left out sometimes. I have an undercut so I have abt 24 starter locs in my head, I wanted them to be medium/thick so I just parted them naturally.

I’m 8 months loc’d!! I have exactly 100 locs and they finally dropped and are thickening up! At home care I use Lemon Fluff Shampoo by Gabel’s and here in Los Angeles I go to Loc Love for retwist.

Have you tried separating your Locs. Like do a half up half down part, pull the top section up with shoelace and the bottom half up with a shoelace and then pull them together
