    I learned my lesson on how Kubota does not honor customer loyalty after my 4th new Kubota purchase (a SVL90) self destructed at less than 600 hours. I now have a CAT and find it to be 10 times the machine the Kubota was!

    I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

    The radiator out of the way is pretty nice. I also really like the idea of the back up camera. Not sure how long it would last with me banging around the woods. The back of my 75-2 is pretty beat up.

  • @codyturner707
    @codyturner707 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question, not being a smart ass either. When we are building motocross and supercross tracks, we have a tendency to really push the limits of equipment already out there. Especially back dragging over jumps. Compared to the 75-2, how balanced is this machine on an incline. I know it’s great for lifting, but to me and my application use, especially with fuel sloshing in the back of the machine rather than down below closer to the middle of the machine. I feel that this machine, though absolutely beautiful, may cause an issue with tipping back a good bit. Seriously asking. Thanks!

    • @german-blissequipment2235
      @german-blissequipment2235 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats a really good question. When Kubota makes an improvement on a series, they typically improve or maintain a stasis on every aspect of the machine and use. That said, it is most def not worse than the 75-2. When working tracks at steep inclines, and moving fast, it is in the users best interest to keep the bucket low, especially when the payload on this machine is 15% greater than its predecessor. There are weight brackets for a little extra balance, and a beefier support bar bridging the arms, but this machine will move way faster than the -2, so keep that in mind when moving dirt and flattening the track. This machine will no doubt speed you up, but when in doubt, keep some dirt in the bucket to balance you out. All skid loaders are tippy at a certain point, best not to dance with that devil. Demo one at your local dealer and see for yourself!

    How do you like the rephasing cylinders vs turnbuckles?

    • @german-blissequipment2235
      @german-blissequipment2235 ปีที่แล้ว

      Theres a give and take. Obviously with cylinders the time, and ease of use is the big win. But adding complexity, adds difficulty if something goes wrong. That said, Landpride craftsmanship is in a class of it's own. We are biased of course, but usually there is little to worry about with Landpride. On the rare occasion something does go wrong, the support is outstanding.

  • @dcbrunk
    @dcbrunk ปีที่แล้ว

    So pretty much it's an ssv75 with tracks on it. The rear door, engine compartment, cab layout, everything looks exactly like an ssv. I would say that is all a good thing, the ssv is a good machine. I hope they have done something about the dirt collecting down around the lift cylinders.

  • @rontopping2048

      @alexgagnon6841 ปีที่แล้ว

      I completely agree

    • @1foreman
      @1foreman ปีที่แล้ว

      Incorrect. The SVL65 is a 65HP machine. The T66 and the SVL75 are both 75hp 9000lb machines. The T76 is still a 75hp machine, but is larger framed and more weight (around 10500) and more lift capacity. Same class as the TL10V2 Tak and the 289D series Cat.

    • @rontopping2048
      @rontopping2048 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@1foreman depending on how you look at . T66 is just under 9000 lbs. New svl75-3 is 9500 lbs. Kubota has higher rating for lifting capacity. John deere 317 is 8300 lbs 68 hp lift more than cat 259d3 74hp . Bobcat changed the game. T595 weight is 8500 74 hp . I own bobcat t595 and t66. On list for kubota svl 75-3 . My my first rodeo

    • @1foreman
      @1foreman ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ron Topping T595 specs: 70hp at 8000lbs. T66 is 74hp at a smidge under 9000lbs. SVL75-3 is 74hp at 9190lbs (200lbs difference) Both the new svl and t66 are the same width, the svl is 8 inches longer. I'd say this is about as fair a comparison as you'll find. The kubotas specs are slightly better all the way around, but that's the point of designing a new machine right? As a side note I own a rental company and we mainly run kubota skid steers, and a couple deere and tak machines. We have 14 of them. I came here to watch this video to get some info on new ones. We never had any of the t66's but we use to run some bobcat machines, but they were too troublesome for rental. We have had way less down time out of the kubotas over any other machine.

    • @rontopping2048
      @rontopping2048 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@1foreman nice my t595 is 74 hp . 2022 and up are 70 hp . Special order build in another country now . Kubota svl is built like a tank, only thing I didn't like was cab noise and servicabilty. Svl75-3 will be a game changer. On list telling me may
