Jessica shares her painful journey from a childhood of neglect and abuse to years of homelessness. After enduring trauma, including physical abuse and food insecurity, she doubted her ability to build a stable family. A friend’s intervention during an attempt to take her own life and an unexpected pregnancy gave her the will to live and renewed her hope. With support from the People Loving Nashville community, she found strength, belonging, and a sense of purpose, transforming her life.
