Three Metal Women Classical Music Composers!
No, it's not metal. (Thank God)
@@MarcosKarno nah, it's metal. I also am God. You're not welcome. lol
Boy bands killed metal, but Liszt will live on forever.
His second quartet is even more metal
This shit go hard
This rocks for sure
Try the 1st movement of Robert Simpson's 5th symphony. Brutal!
@@DavidUKesb I'll check it out!
@@MetalClassicalRocks Not in Mahler's class (but not many are) but if you like heavy metal you'll probably enjoy Simpson.
@@MetalClassicalRocks Danish composer Vagn Holmboe is of the similar vein. Noisy and loud!
@DavidUKesb I am a big fan of Holmboe! 😁
Metalll
Catilina is a musical masterpiece. Masterfully crafted. If Mozart didnt exist, Salieri would be the absolute classical composer
You beat me to the idea !
@@Swaroque You can too!
I assume George Antheil had to invent a way to control his torpedo around Hedy Lamarr he couldn’t💰that 🐈 bill, so he set her up for monthly installments! 📒🧾
My favorite classical piece, one that I shall never be capable of performing.
Absolutely
Hell yeah! But I want to correct only the pronunciation- it should be like Bee-br
@@Fatuzci Thank you
Almost all of the Bartók's stuff is metal
3rd movement Beethovens 5th is the best. It is so badass!
@@magnusemeritus Yeah, it's very good and yet people sleep on it!
Strange but beautiful music indeed. Btw i come from ur other channel,do you plan creating new videos for it? I think you miss a gamate or megaduck and a pasogo to conplete the hamdheld colection. Did you manage to repair the bandai touchscreen console? Also you need to get a casio loopy😊
@@ugarit5 I do not have plans to work on the other channel anymore. I got rid of the collection.
@@MetalClassicalRocksIm sorry for you,it was a very nice selection and your vids were really well made. Best of luck going forward!
The NES Pictionary theme is metal!
Awesome bro!
❤❤❤
a lot of people dont realize, like how rock is based in jazz and blues, metal is based on classical and baroque music
Wow, how have I never heard this piece before?
It's not commonly performed, but it's really good!
Sounds great
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ not metal at all. Thr structure is purely abstract and intellectual. It is a fuge. Missunderstood 👌🏻
@@davidalvarez297 no, it's metal 🤘
@@MetalClassicalRocks the guy who has not studied and knows nothing about fugues has spoken. Ok 😆😆😆
@@davidalvarez297 sorry I went over your head and you don't understand.
@@MetalClassicalRocks 😆😆😆😆 ok
@@davidalvarez297 Ya, my sympathy.
Никто не заметил что речь о 10 квартете Шостаковича, а ноты от 8 квартета 😂
@@rik1bro Both his 8th and 10th quartets are metal. 🤘
@@MetalClassicalRocks but this is an eternal classic😜
@@MetalClassicalRocks I hope that one day I will play Shostakovich's 8th Quartet.
@@rik1bro Absolutely!
it is indeed metal, and very underrated
Great music from Shostakovich, metal
Love it!🤘🏽
@@GCHandle thank you! 🤘
You gotta have some Bartok in your next list.
@@Tarquin21723 Should have. I've covered Bartok Strong Quartet No. 4 and that's also in my "Three Metal String Quartets" video. Miraculous Mandarin is also upcoming.
Que belleza ultra naturalmente suprema, inventiva musical exhuberante, que embelesa,y fascina...
The last movement of his Piano Concerto is delirious as well. In general, Ginastera's later pieces are wild. Absolutely recommended are his opera Don Rodrigo (very powerful choral writing), the Harp Concerto and Popol Vuh.
@@DonFranArobe I love Ginastera. More of him is coming soon too. The Harp Concerto one is already recorded. 🤫
@@MetalClassicalRocks Cool! I will be looking forward to them.
I have just discovered this channel and it's wonderful. But I have to say that I am surprised that Iannis Xenakis' Jonchaies is not feaured here. It's one of the most violent things ever written for an enormous symphony orchestra of 109 musicians. Varèse's Amériques is also another crazy piece for an even bigger ensemble.
Thanks for the compliment and the recommendation! 🤘😁 A Xenakis piece (but a different piece) is coming up soon and Varese in on my list. I'll give Jonchaies another listen too!
@@MetalClassicalRocks I can also suggest other 2 pieces by Xenakis, Lichens and Ata, all are in the same vein as Jonchaies.
My favorite is your second pick, Smolsky! A bit of metal, a bit of drama.
@@musicjotter He's a hidden gem.
It's the inspiration for Black Sabbath's riff on their self-titled song.
the classic
His son is a guitarist of “Rage”
@@ДмитрийЮхневич-я5й ya, Victor Smolski
I remember listening to this full piece by your recommendation. The full piece is actually quite good. Then the guitar comes in, to create even more drama!
@@musicjotter It has become one of my favorite pieces of all time and is definitely the best piece of classical featuring electric guitar!
Stravinsky called it the most Modern music he'd ever heard
Understandably so! 🤘
Good shit my dude
