*GRAPHIC* Last Doe Of 2023/2024 Season! Slo Mo Speed / No Audio
Video runs a little long due to slo mo. Kill shot starts right away. The rest is so you can see her hit the RR tracks and then flop back. Graphic because of some blood and she flops around a bit. Today was a crazy day. There were deer moving all around late into the morning. I think I either saw 14 deer or some of the same deer multiple times. I was getting ready to get down out of the stand about 10am, and I turned around and saw 4 behind me. Out of my left side I saw this doe come across, and I had to act fast. I had my bag over my shoulder, my seat cushion and quiver carabinered to my chest, and my crossbow hanging to my right when all this happened. I had to snap-shoot her standing up. Of course, she ran and flopped down one of the steepest hills on the farm. Thankfully, she hit the RR tracks, did a cartwheel, and came tumbling back onto our property. Thanks for watching!

Overall, I like this machine better than the MSU 850 EPS. I think this type of machine with a steel flatbed would have been better, BUT the 850 is OK. * Do Anything I Did Here At Your Own Risk * MSRP when we bought this was around $13,500, and with the snowplow, we had about $14k in it out the door with farm use no tax. These turkeys came off the roost a little after 7. I shot this one about 7:05. I feel your 2nd deep cycle is too much for the stator on this rig. It will eventually cause you issues down the road. How do you like the power of the 760? Will it do 50mph?

    • @clr1001
      @clr1001 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you could be right, however i have put extra batteries on multiple machines AFTER having the stators go out (and becoming very frustrated) and none have gone out since with the bigger or additional batteries, i believe the key here is to not put too much strain on the stator and put more strain on the battery itself and then the stator will charge the batter back up? i am not positive, but that's what i think, the power is good on the 760 and it has "1 wheel drive" so it will not tear up grass like my 850 does, yes we paced it and it will do about 55mph at full throttle, sorry it took so long to respond, i have not been faithfully checking my messages, thanks for watching!

    For others out there: You can flip the wheels around (the valve stems will be on the inside) to give more offset. Most skid wheels are inset a little, so flipping the wheels inside out can offset enough.

    MWE offers steel and rubber Over the Tire Tacks (OTT's) for skid steers. Our Camso rubber OTT's are an innovative solution to turn your skid steer into a track loader in minutes. Add traction and flotation to your skid steer with rubber OTT's. MWE's steel OTT's are manufactured to increase traction, expanding the environments you can operate in. Each track consists of two thick steel rails that are cast with a tread pattern for added traction.

    I'm actually looking at a 560 and a 760 right now. Mine is mostly for recreation, on Pavement riding...no real mud riding . Pull a Small trailer for some yard work...etc. so can I ask the top speed of your 760? I keep getting conflicting numbers. I see 35....I see 55. I wanna get the 560 but I've realized they are over rated ..the 760 is actually a 500 class machine and I think 500 class is my minimum for power. I will normally have 3 people in it ..wife and teenage daughter. I want something we can go ride, hear each other, and still be able to do 40+ on paved roads we ride on.

      based on my experience: top speed on this unit was 53-55mph by my gps the day we brought it home from the dealer with driver only, do NOT expect to get that carrying 3 adults, i would say 45mph is a safer bet, definitely get the 760 over the 850 for yard work even tho the 850 has a steel fold down bed, 760 is just a better machine all around with its features, plus you have 1 wheel drive "turf mode" on the 760 as the 850 is always in "posi-traction" and tears stuff up quite a bit, if you are regularly going to carry 3 passengers then consider the 5 seater altho it is quite a bit longer, all these machines sound loud to me, the massimos are no exception, get yourself about 3 sets of those motorcycle communicators would be my advice and then you don't have to worry about the noise as much, i would recommend the 760 over the 550 for the extra power, the 550 over the 760 for the price, both have good options, thanks for watching!

      @@clr1001thanks!! I actually pulled the trigger and picked up my 760 just the other day. So far I'm happy...but these things are louder than I like. I guess that's just the way they all are. After driving the 760 and 560, the power steering along is worth it. I also found out I can get the metal bed from the 550f by itself and install it on my 760 as a bolt on, which I plan to do. So I'm basically building a 760f lol...which I can't believe they don't offer. Only problems I have is my low beams don't work, and the engine temp doesn't work on the touchscreen. Did you have any problems with the throttle cable sticking on you yet. Had to install a new cable at only 37 miles on it. I ran it through 1/2 in heater hose to try and protect it from the heat. Also bought 1/2 thick firewall insulation for the shroud cause this thing gets hot and the factory insulation isn’t sufficient

      sorry, been hunting (no good ones), just got to answering, i have not had the throttle cable stick...yet, i also wrapped the exhaust from the front cylinder and the rear cylinder and the "Y" to the muffler in exhaust wrap, this has helped tremendously with the heat, i haven't adjusted the shifter cable...yet, mechanic said massimo knows this is a common problem, thanks for watching!

This shot was not as good as the first, but this deer bled out quickly and it was a short tracking job at about 50 yards from where it was shot. She had only shot targets with a crossbow before this season. Thanks for watching!

    Did the tracks ever come out on the job? (outside the punctures) Thank you for the review.

    • @clr1001
      @clr1001 ปีที่แล้ว

      Short answer: NO, Long answer: NO, I have used these rubber over steel tracks in very extreme conditions and they have never come off the wheels after 1000s of hours--if that is what you are asking? The punctures into the track have NOT seemed to affect the performance. There is some wear on the stainless rods that tie the tracks together but that is to be expected after several 1000 hours of use / abuse. The "wedge" sections that go around the tires make it virtually impossible for the tracks to come off from side to side, something would have to break in order for that to happen, I have only had them slip on me 1x front to back when I got into a creek bed and submerged the entire machine so far that I had water coming up thru the belly and soaking my feet (my UNSTUCK video), the rubber on rubber design is extremely good, there are also drive wedges / lugs on the inside of the tracks that correspond to the drive surface of the tires and they lock in quite well, I have used these tracks in snow, mud, sand, on asphalt (they will tear up asphalt just like metal tracks), on grass, and in the woods mowing brush, shearing trees, grappling brush and logs, and using the Bobcat as a skidder with a special drawbar my Dad made for the 3pt hitch plate (like a 3pt hitch on a tractor), I've said it before but I will say it again here: These tracks add about another 1000# to the machine, about 3 inches height off the ground so check your attachments to make sure they work like you want them to, another 50% +/- in stability (my estimate), and maybe 25% +/- in lift / tipping capacity, please let me know if you have any other questions and I will do my best to answer, thanks for watching!

    I thought they made spacers to offset the wheels out slightly?

    • @jumpsuitsniper7386
      @jumpsuitsniper7386 ปีที่แล้ว

      they DO make wheel spacers to offset the wheels and you CAN buy them so you can use your factory rims, i contacted several dealers when I was researching buying these and they were either all in cahoots or they were giving me good advice: they all said I could use wheel spacers but cautioned me about the wheel spacers coming loose from the machine hubs and creating a bigger problem, if you do it right I think it would be OK, that being said, do it at your own risk, you would be putting 8-lug spacers on your hubs and then bolting on another 8 lugs for your rims, if you torqued them down to the proper specs with some medium thread-locker on the spacer bolts it would probably be OK, I didn't want to take the risk so I went with the offset rims, I think it was about 6 3/4" offset +/-, I wish I had gotten at least another 1/2 inch offset because my tracks rub slightly on the back end sometimes and when I let my arms all the way down it does shine up about 1/4 inch +/- under my arms, it hasn't seemed to hurt anything but it does rub slightly, in 6+ years I have never had a problem with my extended rims coming loose inside the tracks, I think the wheel spacers are very heavy if I remember correctly as well, something like 50# + per wheel, I would think they would have to be to handle the torque of a skidsteer and the tracks, the manufacturer DOES recommend getting extra-wall tires for these particular tracks and they DO rub inside the tracks but it's never caused me any problems so far, also 2 of the 4 extended rims leak off and it's not a huge deal but I air up all 4 tires to 65psi every time I use the machine, again, do any of this at your own risk but I have been very satisfied with these tires / rims / tracks overall, and remember the price tag of $5000ish for the new tires, rims, and tracks at the time I bought them, good luck!

      not sure if you are trying to be funny or just trolling? i can take it off whenever i want by removing the 4 bolts in the front, no crane or friends needed, as for poor i guess that is a matter of varying opinions, as for this being a crap bed cover that also would likely be a matter of varying opinions, it has worked out quite well for me, if it needs paint i repaint it, if i scratch it i don't mind, and i know it's safe to walk on easily holding over 200# in any one spot on the entire surface of the bed, thanks for watching

    I have a homemade setup with a hydraulic motor on a Woods mower and it's great for elephant grass. The old 863 broke down, and rust was the main issue, maybe it's time to get it going again!
