    You do not have to take all the plastic off. Looks like a 3 hour oil change. Just pull the black plastic up right by his finger at 1 min. 47 seconds and you can access the oil filter cover.

      It will never get completely tight. You just have to go far enough for it to sandwich itself in the hole. They say the nine complete turns cause that’s how many revolutions it takes for it to sandwich down.

      No I didn’t. Because I did this at 10hrs. I typically change my oil more on my machines than the recommended. So I did it at 10 the next one will be at 50hrs then I will change it at every 50hrs. I also check my oil before every ride. If it starts getting dark I’ll change it.

  • @itsheff3929

    Is the 1000 power worth getting new and having to snorkel, rad relocate or is the 850 xmr right there with it?

    • @Story53s
      @Story53s 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depending on what kind of riding buying a 1000 xt snorkeling in and just putting the CanAm rad kit is worth it. Especially you go with an earlier year model say a 17-18 that still has the throttle by cable. It’s way more responsive. Through clutches on and it becomes even more of an animal.

  • @itsheff3929
    @itsheff3929 ปีที่แล้ว

    Also I see you have the 1000 xtp and xmr 850. That’s what I’m stuck between getting. Is the power that noticeable to where it’s worth getting a xtp 1000 and snorkeling or is the 850 the best move?

    • @Story53s
      @Story53s ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are looking for a mud machine. Out of the box you can’t beat the 850. I love my 1000 XTP but when in it comes to mud and deep mud the radiator becomes a problem on the XTP. The 1000 has more down low power 850 is more mid range. Thanks for Watching.

    • @Story53s
      @Story53s ปีที่แล้ว

      Check your fluids often. Especially rear diff. I change mine every couple rides. Clean and inspect clutches. Check and change air filter. Keep up with maintenance. If your going to be riding in deep water have your snorkels smoke tested every so often. I wear pant most of the time when I ride because of heat. But I have also gotten the reflective heat tape and applied it to my plastics that are near the exhaust. Most importantly get out and ride. Thanks for watching!!
