My name is Eric Benner. I enjoy camping, offroad/4x4 activities, working on vehicles and machinery and many other outdoor activities. This channel is where I will share my experiences with anyone who is interested. Curious Hound Overland can also be found on Facebook. I also have another channel with automotive How-To's, called Livvy's Ranger Garage.
Why do I see voltage????
Trying to answer a specific question about using test equipment. The question "Why do I see voltage if the negative battery cable is disconnected?" Was posed on www.TheRangerStation.com in November 2024

My 5-day trip to the MOORE Expo in Springfield, MO. It was quite an adventure getting there and back and the expo was fun. I camped at S.M.O.R.R. and joined my friends from www.TheRangerStation.com, usernames 85_Ranger4X4, his wife Mrs_85 and their son Oliver. Part 1 sees us riding west over 2 days and arriving at the campground.
inside a Gazelle tent with heavy rain and 45mph wind gusts
มุมมอง 458 หลายเดือนก่อน
Recently spent 2 nights in my Gazelle T-4 in adverse weather. Properly staked down, she handles it very well. I stayed dry and warm. the second night, wind gusts reached 50mph, but no rain. I'm impressed. this was at Cedar Island,NC, right next to the ferry terminal, March 22, 2024. this is NOT a sponsored video. I am just impressed with how well the Gazelle handled the weather. @gazelle T-4 ww...

Why don't you just spray pb blaster into the axle?
Good point. I should edit the video description. I made this video in response to someone who installed new u-joints and they were binding and stiff. It was not a matter of a lubrication deficiency. They merely need to adjust where the "play" is in the assembly to allow it to flex freely. Thank you.
@@Curious_Hound_Overland Thanks for the explanation. That was not clear for me as viewer. It would be great if you could add this info to your video! KR from Germany
Did the forest service create the roads?
You left the main road for more fun! Great video.
Makes me wonder who paved the road originally. Good video looking backward.
Fun travelling through the streams!
Beautiful video, good background music.
Great job! I really hate I missed you at the event!
Nice ride, tough break on the chain but I'm glad it was a fairly simple fix. I was camped onsite at MOORE
Cool! Didn't know you were there. I only got half a day at the expo. My friends let me ride along as they did the SMORR to Moore Rally a second time. Coming in part 2.
Slow ahh kids
That are sped bro😂
I have go there
Jkkjj
How I run in my dreams:
Ha!
Merry Christmas to you and Livvy!
Thank you. And to you, also.
Looked like she really enjoyed the sirens haha
I was up there on Monday. Love this area in fall.
I did a loop from home (Wellford), out hwy 11, up 276 through Brevard to the BRP, then through Hendersonville, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock, down to Tryon and Landrum for dinner, then home.
@@Curious_Hound_Overland I did a similar loop....up 178 to Rosman - 215 to the Pkwy, across to Brevard for lunch and 276 back to 11 and home.
That’s another beautiful route
Bath time.
It's always great time when I get together with you guys.
Weak at best.
Thanks - great little useful video.
Hell yeah 👍
Pretty cool
Gotta love the Buc-ees! Safe travels!

Are you disabled?

I wish I could. Locomotive sold. Dad has been gone several years now. He taught me a lot about trains, railroad history model trains, model building, etc.

Found your channel! Subscribed! Nice meeting you today, hope to see you and Livvy on a trail soon!
Thank you! I look forward to seeing you again.
Thanks for making this video, same me time and a headache.
Congrats on the ride and the great bike! Just moved to CLT three months ago but family duties don’t allow me to ride as much as I’d like…
Where u get that?
It's not mine. It's just a normal radio controlled Jeep that someone connected to the wagon.
That looked like a great time! We’ve gotta get down to gulches
Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks very much… I spent a hour trying to work this out today without success. Someone then sent me a link to your video after I asked on one of the FB groups.
I know that dog, that’s Livvy!
You should of put a cape on him😜💯
Nawww
What a happy dog.

@@BP_211yt yeah whatever, same thing.
@@SweetTodd lol agreed
Once you pulled out onto Panther Rock. Did you take the same route back out? Doesn’t look like it possibly. I know entering you traveled south to Northeast to get there. On the way out it appears you continued northeast
I came to the Panther rock spur from the south, I believe. When leaving, at the top of the hill, I turned right to continue the trail northward. That was a fun trail. I really enjoyed it.
That’s what I thought. I may be going in July. Trying to figure out my route and plan accordingly since I’m only gonna have a day. I would like to hit all of the Jeep Badge of Honor trails but not sure I’ll have enough time
@@5arge I don't know how capable your rig is. But #15 is a brute. I want to do it some day. But not alone.
Grady, just wanted to thank you for the tractor model and the letter.
Andrew, I'll pass along your thanks. Grady (AKA Phil, Peewee, etc.) Is my ex-wife's (Angie's) uncle. He doesn't do a whole lot of Facebook, TH-cam, email and stuff like that. It's not his style. But I'm still in contact occasionally. Eric Benner
@@Curious_Hound_Overland ok, thank you. He sent me a nice letter and tractor.
Sweet video. Also got a b2 I’ll be bringing out to the badlands this summer !
Hell yeah 👍
