Hi Maresa, I am a freelance architect in California currently experiencing a pending payment, from a continuous client, of approximately $17k. The invoices are late for over 4 months. Although because this was a continuous client, my work was structured for "time and material" not through contracts. What I do have is proof of my plans being used in the field, and the work itself already being built by the contractor. Which if I have understood correctly Evidence of agreement when "While no signed contract exists, evidence like communications, quotes, project plans, and commencement of work can be used to demonstrate a legally biniding agreement". Can I still contact an attorney?

would you advise to incorporate a holding company and a subsidiary on the same jurisdiction or incorporate the two entities in different jurisdiction?

Hi I have a question. You said if a holding company owns up to 80% of a subsidiary both companies can file a consolidatory tax. My question is what if they are registered in different states?

If this is true: A. It's wild that what they told us in the early 2000s about ALWAYS read contracts and service terms, before signing or hitting enter, because companies are sneaky AF, was that true. B. That's a shit way to be ppl, but a good way to make money as a company. And I hate that those are so separate. 2. After the woman.... transitioned? Is that a new euphemism for died? Just to be clear, ICAAN also has jurisdiction in China? Right now a company in China wants to Use our domain name, according to them its essential to their business. Checking to be sure that our company or our names are the registrant.
