Agreed. I love Garbage. I just don't like when people can't see that Shirley obviously was influenced by Toni/Curve. Garbage just happened to be in the right place at the right time + having Butch Vig alone DIDN'T HURT.
At the same time, I say just the same for Evanescence. They should thank Garbage x's a million.

Still deeply confused ? who the f$%^ decided this band wasn't going to be big ? seriously looking at the crap that has made it ? who ever it was should burn in the fires of a very nasty hell and then some !
They were, are, fiercely independent. That did not go down well with labels at the time, so they were never promoted as much as they deserved. Almost no one I ever talk to about music has heard of them and are blown away when they do hear them!
