Because the CC is very important and Shredder toolkit also procs Fireworks. If you fail the CC from Greer, the boss gets 10 stacks of Empowered. And since there wasn't any dps check anyways (other than preventing as much Empowered stacks as possible), I just dropped nades.

Yeah nowadays it’s a normal killrun and no one bats an eye. It really is crazy how much it changed

If you pay attention to the HP bars of the other players and my mouse, you can see that we are actually stacked in two different spots most of the time and that I throw the sphere such that I hit only the other sub. Whenever we are stacked and I throw the sphere on top of the group, I only hit my sub of course.

Hmm. Depends on dps I guess, Portal just costs you some dps, so if you have enough, it's not really too bad, but if you lack dps, it is more important than Mass Invis. If the overall dps is good enough, I think Mass Invis is more important then, because it allows you to make Champ Burst less stressful.

I find scourge already easier than mech, just requires to be aware of what I mention in this video. Other then that, Chrono is probably one of the easiest ones right now and also overcaps alacrity by a lot, while still bringing a ton of support.

Yes, however, let me preface this by saying that it was highly specialised for HTCM. For example, I ran trickery for the added boonstrip and supportive boons. Purely for dps, you'd probably want to switch that to Deadly Arts. Same with the utility skills of course. It can take two stability skills and has more healing, that can cover a lot of weaknesses for example if your boon support is not doing proper stability. However, that doesn't mean that Scourge is necessarily bad. A well played Scourge will be just as fine as most other kite builds.

It depends on the boss. Spear was always and still is burstier, so if you have short enough phases, it can still keep up with SwSw. It's just once you get to longer phases, it eventually loses out. I did a few quick runs post-patch and I'd eyeball around the 45s mark or so where SwSw takes over; before that, Spear is ahead. I didn't try and grind a decent number though, so take that with a grain of salt.

Unfortunately Spear was nerfed a day ago with the 8th Oct patch, which means the dmg will be substantially lower. Camping Greatsword is probably more dps now, but you can at least still use Spear as the Stacking Sigil weapon and for the opener.

Yeah sometimes it's a bit janky, but tbh I simply can't be bothered to hover over it all the time, that would annoy me personally even more :D As you mentioned, luckily enough it's not really an issue in PvE for the most part

Although, if you really really want it, you could run Scepter/Shield instead for 5s of Immob.

@@MinasGW2 When I played it I used that Hammer has a short immob, but that was before spear existed and I think it's better to have more healing, could even drop bow of truth for immob signet if you really want the effect.
