Based on the complexity of the Line Items related to the Breakback, the model performance may or may not be affected. Some good practices for optimizing the load time include reduction of calculations such as turning off summary methods where not needed and avoiding multiple formula repetitions. You would also need to make sure that the formulas generally do not include sums and lookups in the same line items and the order of the dimensions in related modules is the same. Depending on whether the model optimization practices were properly implemented, the Breakback should not necessarily affect the model performance negatively.
