It was a sunny day but got cloudy when we got to the ring. It rained for half an hour, so we waited a bit and went for a lap. It started raining again right at the moment when we got past the gates, but there was no way back. Tires felt cold, almost dropped my bike around 1:23 in the first corner... At this moment I realised this lap was not going to be about fun & speed but more about survivin...

I hired a Vespa GTS300 from Bici & Baci when I was in Rome with my daughter (Aug 2021). It was definitely the best way of seeing Rome, we loved the scooter and the city and hope to do it all again some day.. Oh, and I came home to Ireland, sold my BMW R1200GS and bought a Yamaha Xmax 300 scooter.. I loved the Vespa but for commuting the larger luggage capacity, larger fuel range and better weather protection (you need it in Ireland) made it a better choice for me over a Vespa, but I’d love a Vespa some day too :)
