Hi angel, you got this! I believe in you. I may be some stranger, but I get what you're going through. It's hard to tell the intentions of someone through texting. You won't be able to tell if they're tired or just getting bored. I had a long-distance boyfriend of 4 months. The last 2 months he slowly got dry and would barely text me. I broke it off after not receiving and I love you for a week. If he treats you with respect and genuinely wants to be near you as a friend or more, they'll make time for it and text for it. It's something I've learned. And while it may be hard to leave, sometimes it's better to let go of that everyday stress and overthinking of whether or not they even cared. If you have others to hang out with, do it. Indulge in yourself rather than others. *You* matter more than anyone else in *your* life. Remember that! It's okay to be selfish when it comes to your mental health. Take a break, clear your mind, then make decisions. Just know this random stranger loves you and hopes for the best throughout your life. ​@@1y3_. Thank you for your replies. And your wish too, I also wish you all the best. Even though this is just a wish between strangers. I did take a break from that Alhaitham main, around a week or so. I tried to keep myself busy from time to time and tried to not think about all these relationship things. I tried to act cool and do all my hobbies again, trying to find joy in them again. Reading, sketching, painting, practicing guitar, etc... But sometimes I find myself reading all the text between him and me again and again, taking note of how he sulks when I don't say "Good night" to him or when I forget to say "Love you" when I leave. It's adorable in some ways... And it's cheesy I know... Now, he doesn't do that anymore. I am not an inexperienced one in love, I did date... if not, a lot before him. I know that in the relationship, there will always be this phase. The phase when both of you feel "out of love" with each other and have nothing to talk with one another anymore. It's not like when you first met, burning with curiosity about each other and eager to learn about your partner. After learning about your partner, you may feel bored. I guess that is the phase we are going through right now. We both have choices. Either leave or stay. But still, loving someone is like an act of choosing to stay regardless of having lost feelings. And I had chosen to stay with him, even though, yes, I know his flaws and how rude and blunt he can be, I accept them with no complaints at all. It's just that, I don't know if he would do the same or he would leave me like my exes again and again. Because he is the first person I actually love after years of pointless dating. It's not "in love", like obsessing over the attention or affection or how he makes me feel comfortable and safe. It is "loving" as if I prepare to accept him however he be. I have always been logical in love and set boundaries. I am not a person who is blindly in love, I know what I am doing...perchance. Or not. Ahaha... I won't expect you to read a dumb love story between two strangers. But still, thank you for your time reading my thoughts I have been thinking lately.

@@Reiifj I’m glad you took a break. It’s needed for our minds when overwhelmed or overloaded. I wish you luck in finding joy in hobbies again. It took me 5 months after my breakup to find my hobbies once more. I hope you both can find joy in each other once more and find those hobbies while still together. It just takes time. A lot of it. Patience. Perhaps it is just a phase. But I would definitely make sure to communicate how you both feel on the relationship at the moment. And make sure you both understand each other. Communication can’t work without understanding! When I found my lover, my entire body reacted. Not just my mind and heart. I felt a lot happier and giddy, my body felt more active and comfortable in itself, I felt natural, my anxiety was reduced and I felt like there was a weight lifted off my shoulders when I found my lover. I believe love isn’t an act of staying even if feelings are lost, I believe love is the act of bonding and understanding. I do not think love should ever fade if you truly love them. Admiration can fade, but love shouldn’t. Love is something that’s so intense and has such an impact on your body that you shouldn’t have to feel alone even when away from your lover. I completely understand the “not in love” kind of thing with others. I dated 7 people before him, then counting him at 8 now. 8 exes before I found the person I believe is *love.* Love makes us blind. Boundaries are important and a must in relationships, logic doesn’t come easy with love. When you love someone you see their flaws as part of their perfection. While this can be bad, it can also be good. Moral of the story, communicate if possible with him on what you’re currently feeling within the relationship and what he is feeling. And that means understand each side, one at a time. So he doesn’t interrupt and try to guilt or manipulate and you don’t do that to him, not saying you guys would. <3
