    Not at all....squash relies on these types of short sharp movements and these are designed to develop muscle memory to help you in match situations. Alot of the work on this video is used to develop core strength which alot in racquet sports, especially squash with its twisting and lunging, rely on. Also as another poster has said, the interval training aspect replicates match conditions.

    You're useless for squash. These exercises improve leg and upper body strength for harder hitting while helping with footwork coordination.

    Well really when you look at it Squash is akin to interval training, when you are in a game you have to have quick bursts of speed to get to the ball and then back to the centre, so obviously running and biking is good, but if you can you should make a 1 k run into 300 meters of broken sprinting and the rest jogging, this will allow you to have the necessary bursts of speed in the game. But of course doing any exercise will help you get fit and gain muscle :D
