truly one of the sub 2s of all time in all seriousness im really glad to get a sub 2 at my 2nd pyra comp! nr single was once a possibility but with it now being 1.17, it’s pretty much impossible, but i’ll take an nr4 any day. it’s been a fun few months maining pyra :) sorry about the megalovania mbmb

Not gonna lie, this average was pretty trash considering I average 3.0 - sub 3 at home :( Still, I'm quite pleased with how I did for my first competition with pyraminx, considering that I started practicing at the start of December last year (wow it's been 4 months already???), and getting a sub-3 debut average may not have been the most deserved anyway. neat, you basically cut down two algs from it just by using simple 2 move setups. it's a bit more inefficient this way, but it could be easier to learn this way for some people. I like this.

id say practicing finding efficient vs (below 5 moves for most cases would be good) and drilling l4e recognition helped me quite a lot

i realize i didn't elaborate as much on the one-flip case as i should have oops if you get a one flip case, choose the triplet paired in the second layer, and use that corner to form a pseudo triplet with the flipped triplet
well with my 1.13 it went like this. Step 1: see someone get a 1.76 who averages slower than you and they are really mad about how ''slow'' it was. Step 2: fail the avg because you are nervous for the last solve. Step 3 : get this scram L B' L' R L' B U B' U' L' B l' r b. Step 4 : see solution and think to yourself " just start the timer just start the timer". Step 5 :execute and get a 1.13 NER single and 37th in the world at the time. Step 6: fall on chair and have the delegate yell at you to sign score card ( thanks @zach0069)
