Why stop with verse10, isn't 11 part of the discussion? Surely that gives us an insight into what exactly godly sorrow entails. Paul defines seven attributes to this sorrow that lead's to salvation it would be helpful to hear about these. I have never heard anyone speak on them.

I am broken at age 75 although I still have 45 years left to actually begin my Ministry. Not unlike Moses for 40 years I was a literal Prince in Egypt. Then for 40 years I am to tend sheep in Midia in Arabia. Now at lastly at age 75 I am almost ready to begin the third and most important portion of my life’s work: Preaching the Words of The LORD YHVH to an unwilling stiffnecked broken world.
