of course hair is an accessory! Don’t forget that hair can be part of what people are calling “sandwich” dressing: Blonde hair / light sand/ nude shoes - or at least light brown. Blonde hair/ light bag. Dark hair/ black bag and shoes. not saying you have to always do this but it will make your overall look more harmonious. All of my investment bags are in my color way or match my hair 😊- I’m a light spring and don’t wear black. it’s too serious /clear and dark in general in my opinion and always needs to be lighted with brighter layers near face, gold jewelry, -especially for me as a light spring. Black does nothing for my skin tone so i got rid of it and i don’t miss it. i wish i had done color analysis at your age - it’s a game changer. i don’t know what season CBK was because it always looked like she died her hair so im not sure. Technically she should be a clear spring. I suspect you are an Autumn 😊

Yes Nina, I agree, CBK did have a classic, simple, and understated style. I also think her mother in law Jaqueline Kennedy had a classic simple style too. Funny, I was in the Gap with my niece Katie today and you inspired her to buy 2 white T-shirts, one boxy and one fitted to wear under a cardigan.

What a delightful haul! Like you, I've been searching for a beautiful edition of "Giovanni's Room" ... the one you found is gorgeous. Last month, while on vacation in Kentucky, I had a copy of "Another Country" in my hands at this antiquated used bookstore with five floors of wall-to-wall books. Nina, I put it back on the shelf ... no reason way! Alas. As for "Bridget Jones’s Diary," you should definitely see the movie, especially if you're not going to read the book for some time. It's hilarious! Order a pizza and watch it with your girlfriends. 😄
