In the late 80s my dad brother and me went for a drive in south texas outskirts of San Antonio. We heard flapping and a shadow was visible over the car. My dad pulled over along with the truck behind him. He got out talked with the other driver and we took off fast. Crazy.

A friend of mine who lives in Boerne had something similar happen. His dad owns a big ranch outside of Boerne ( he still lives here so I will ask him where his dads ranch is) anyway a massive bird with what seemed to be an 18 ft wing span freaked him out.
