Bridge and right side setup taken from what I saw discussed on a luvvlyjude stream with crossroads198x. It's also what doogile has been doing and according to jude and crossroads is optimal for avoiding the pigs falling down. You only need the one block on the top right to make a flat, straight path for the pigs and don't need to cover the entire hole, and that will keep all the pigs from falling. In fact, not covering the entire hole is actually good, because if there is a sword pig in that area, after you break the gold block you can use the hole to juke the pig because the pig will pathfind around it.
I think you also want to hug that wall while you mine the gold block so that you are far enough away from the lodestone chest pigs that they don't aggro early and drop on you.
Pre-mining left side hole and jumping over idea taken from what I saw oxidiot doing. You take less damage since you have to run through fewer pigs. Also, this way if a hoglin happens to get stuck at the bottom of the bridge like shown here (very rare, took me quite a while to get this clip), you don't risk getting hit and knocked down by that hoglin, though the hoglin in that position will still block pigs from getting up so I'm still trying to figure out a way to prevent it consistently.
Not aggroing the lodestone pigs early is pretty important for this. Obviously if it is buried and you don't know if the other side is a triple you might not want to do this, but you should be able to see if that's the case when you mine the hole.
Trading hole idea taken from what I saw bloonskiller doing. Less mechanically intense than doogile's method of digging the hole, placing a gold block, mining a gold block, then tossing gold. Realistically I don't think there's a time difference but you are definitely safer doing this if you aren't as mechanically inclined as doogile. Hard toggle is helpful to get any pigs up high. Sneaking to the back of the block and jumping also seems to help get any stuck lodestone pigs down. If you are in third person F5 with quake pro and hitboxes on, you can see their sightlines to see if there's any that are stuck, same with the pigs below the stairs. A similar idea may exist for single chest ramparts.
Forgot where I first saw the fire tick thing but it is a pretty common strat now. Can be used for kb from both tnt and hoglins, just make sure you light the fire (and preferably punch it out immediately) before the hoglin hits you. If the two hoglins are very close together I recommend lava instead because you won't have space to light a second fire before the second hoglin hits you.
