This channel is dedicated to my son, Nicholas David Chapdelaine. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker, mountain biker, lover of nature, and had a kind, gentle soul. I honor his memory here and hope that others like me, who have lost a loved one to suicide, will find some peace here. Complicated grief is an animal of its own kind. It can strike anytime, anywhere, in the most unexpected of places and ways.
I learned early on in my grief process that I felt better when I spent time in the outdoors. Located in Alabama near Talladega, wildlife abounds in this beautiful land. That led me to purchase my first trail camera. In reviewing the pics and videos, I realized that I felt joy in this new hobby. If I can make one person smile today, then it's worth sharing!
