I never really realized how the first few seasons is just the good guys taking L after L after L. Literally the good guys just keep losing for the first half of the entire series. Also believe it or not, but Oberyn actually DID need Gregor to confess, otherwise he wouldnt have been able to justifiably kill Tywin next. If Gregor confessed (Where other people could hear him) then legally Oberyn would have justification to bring Tywin to justice for ordering Gregor to kill his family.

Shae's betrayal in the books is so much worse. In the show she does it out of jealousy because she wanted to stay with him. In the books she never actually loved or cared about him she was just using him, and when he was on trial she found an opportunity to ally herself with his family and benefit from testifying against him.

Everybody keeps getting on them about the whole grape thing but I also don’t remember them explicitly saying Homelander did that to her. Imma need somebody to direct me to the scene where they 100% confirm that’s what happened because what I remember the footage showed her and HL going in the room together as if it was consensual, as if she was having an affair. Billy said he assaulted her because that’s what he thought happened, but the footage made it seem like it was a mutual thing. Im not saying HL is innocent but I understand why these dudes were confused because I was too when I first watched EDIT: So yea I just went back and watched the scene where they show the camera footage. And I see where the disconnect is. Becca definitely goes into the room with HL and it seems consensual then she comes out looking disheveled but it STILL doesn’t necessarily mean she was graped. When I first saw it I thought she just got busy and it was moreso a look of regret for cheating. The problem is, we forgot this is Homelander we’re talking about..most people don’t deny him because they are scared of him. So yes it is possible she was coerced into sleeping with him due to fear. Mind this happens in Season 1 when we still didnt know how messed up HL is. It’s not just me and these guys; there’s plenty people in the comments who were also confused by this.
