    Example of an intermediate user making/appearing as an expert using other experts artwork in the middle. But in reality the Script need work its a bit misleading when you are saying the buzzword & not talking about the fundamentals which is actually what matters ✌️

    Having desire to render large scale cities in Blender will force you to learn about video game programming. Especially Occlusion Culling (or any other kind of Culling). Basically a method to "Not" render something that's within Camera's view sight but obstructed with another object that's closer to the camera.

    TBH, start with the Blender Guru donut, or maybe the beginner course from Joey Carlino, Greg Abbitt, or Ryan King. Otherwise you aren’t even going to be able to navigate, create a shape, or even know WTF you can do with Blender. Then circle back to this plan.

    Hi. Overall this is a well made video with good info. Probably the best tutorial that Iv seen that uses an ai voice. However, one of the things I didn't like is that the video said that the intersect boolean is not used in hard surface modeling. That is not true. People DO use the intersect boolean. Just because you don't use it doesn't mean no body uses it.

    • @Jack3D-official
      @Jack3D-official 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I meant that intersection will be least used than the other Boolean. Maybe I don't use that, good point.

    1.-Carver in edit mode hides the cuts, do I have to apply them to be able to add bevel in edit mode, any solution? 2.- How do I close the triangle? I press space and it cut xD

    • @Jack3D-official
      @Jack3D-official 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah, if the cuts hides in edit mode, you could turn on the Boolean modifier, but inorder to have control over the edges/cuts you need to apply the modifier, 2. I don't understand, could you explain the issue briefly

    This subject is an example of situations where you DON'T need a mirror modifier. The primitive meshes used are already symmetrical down the long axis of the subject; you're not adding arms and legs, etc.

    Just a quick tip for getting bolts/screws exactlty where want them: at 3:38 instead of trying to line up the bolt to the hole in the gun, select the gun mesh, go into edit mode, select the face you want the bolt to be directly ontop of (you can also select all the verts that make up the cricle but makesure to do them at the depth you want them, however you can play with the depth after) with hard ops, hit control and S, youll have a pie menu come up and youll see "3D cursor to face" (or verts/edges depending what mode you're in) once the origin is in the exact place, select the mesh you want to go there, hit control and s again and "move to 3d cursor" usually with offset. Seems alot when typed out, but super fast and easy to do with hard ops

      @Jack3D-official I also noticed when you scaled the little bits on the grip (the grooves I guess? Idk what else to call them haha) you scaled them on yhe Z axis but by "median". If you press . (Not on your numpad, that will change your camera to rotate around the selected part, bonus tip 😉) and change the mode to "individual origins", it will scale them all accordingly to each face. That stops the mesh going under itself at any point (you can see it a little on the bottom and top loops when you scaled them down) Not making a dig at all or trying to be overcritical, you've clearly got a great understanding for shape and form (arguably the best skills to have when modeling), just wanted to help a little bring your models standard even higher. Good video and great explanation, keep it up bro 👌
