Lapland | Finland | December 2022
We went to Lapland in Finland for a early Christmas treat in 2022. We had the best time with all of the activities and playing in the snow at -20c, luckily the snow suits kept us warm! Hope you enjoy!

The last two days of our 4 day break in Yorkshire meant we were able to go into York and explore a new city for us! As the summer holidays are coming to an end, thought it would be nice to get away in the tent for the last time this year. We travelled up to Gulliver's land with my sister and her family to enjoy some rides! Great family time!

After not being able to do much last weekend due to trips to A&E, we can finally start the summer holiday celebrations! I took the boys to a harbour festival with my parents to burn off some energy!

As the heat wave kicks in, everyone heads to the beach but we could not think of anything worse! Instead we took the boys to our local Snowtrax to try out their alpine adventure park and enjoy the sun beneath the trees! Instagram: thisparsonsfamily
BURLEY | LONGDOWN FARM

Trying to find something to keep the boys busy during a rainy weekend can be hard but we decided just to brave it and as the English whether is unpredictable I am glad we took the gamble! We ended up having a lovely walk around the little village of Burley and then went to Longdown activity farm to burn the boys energy which ended up being the best idea and no rain until after we arrived home!

For fathers day, I booked for our family to enjoy a day out at Beaulieu the national motor museum which also had a hot rod and custom show on! What temperature was it when you was there?
I'm going in 6 weeks will I see snow there and will it be really cold? Like in the minus? C
What week in December was this visit? My family and I are considering going the first week but would be bummed if there wasn't any snow.

Top tip: Next time you go there is a shop like Aldi within walking distance called Jumbo It's also right near to the best ice cream parlor ever 😉

I hope the boys enjoyed the park , looking at the footage a lot has changed in the past 40 years. Then again the park is almost 100 years old so it would be expected that it changed.. It was a favorite destination for schooltrips back in the day. If your children are a bit older I would recomend the Efteling.
We had such a good time! My boys love theme parks at the moment so I will definitely look into Efteling now, thank you!
@@thisparsonsfamily2178 Your welcome , its a great park , and realy needs a few days to discover it all . You will realy enjoy it as its a true family park . atractions that where there in the 50s are still there so grandparents parents that vissited the park still feel nostalgic as the 3 and more generations all had the same experience but with new atractions added along the way. so it always feels new .

Is there electric hookups on every area?
They have both electric and non electric pitches, with a minimum of 2 nights. We had a hard standing electric pitch. By paying to stay at the campsite also includes the entry to the park but also means the campers can go into the areas such as the play parks when Woodlands has been shut. We really enjoyed this perk. Thanks for watching :)
