It’s not only a video on hu tiu, It’s also about the story of the street seller putting her kid through school with the money she worked hard for from her shop. 👍. I didn’t know they had a guideline for how long a video should be 🇻🇳☘️💪. Thanks for you comment.
Best food I ever ate in Vietnam 90% of time with on the streets. Mì gõ is also very good the one behind Gold View Apartment complex.
Hi that’s good to hear. We used to live at gold view apartments for 2 years. You are correct some amazing food places out the back on the street has a lot of great food. Vietnamese food is so amazing 🤩🇻🇳☘️🥰
Hủ tíu gõ has been a typical dish in Saigon since 1950 for the labor, worker.
It’s been around for many years and people still enjoy the dish around the world 😊 Vietnam has amazing food 🇻🇳🥰
Nice video bro, I must try all of this when I come to Vietnam. It’s so much better to experience the culture by doing this then going to a McDonald’s or some western restaraunt 😊

Hu tiu here in cali USA at least cost 15 dollars plus tip 😢😢
Hey there, yes it’s so expensive overseas to buy these amazing dishes. Vietnam has so many delicious options and we take the price for granted here. Around $2 for most foods.. 🇻🇳
Seeing you guys eating hu Tiu go that make me remember my childhood memories. Ty …. love you all ❤❤😂😂 btw , I used to live on so viet nghe tinh, p 26 back in the early 80 and it’s not far from that place.

Have you come back to Vietnam to visit again since then? You remember this hu tiu go place from even back then? Wowww 😘 Thank you for watching 🥰🇻🇳

Hi guys, I was just at that food festival yesterday on Nguyễn Huệ and I really liked the different kinds of Bánh. I also like Bánh Xèo, but I can't stand to eat the shrimp shell, so I just remove it. Same with Bánh Khọt. I commented on your video at Lê Văn Tám park a few weeks ago. You had responded and wanted to know what I thought of sticky rice (Xôi). I tried different ones, but I must say I liked the orange colored one the most. I recently retired and moved to HCMC six months ago, and can read, write, and speak some Vietnamese, but my listening skills need much improvement! Really enjoy your fun and informative videos!
We are happy to hear you really enjoyed the festival. Good variety of different dishes and lots of options. For sure that shrimp shell isn’t the best when it gets in the way hehe. We remember you mentioned about the xôi our last video 😊. Yes the orange one is nice and not overly sweet either got a good balance of flavor. The listening skill is the hardest to master because there’s so many different dialects and hard to understand the tones in conversation. It’s gets better the longer in Vietnam it’s like fine tuning a tv or radio the sound becomes more clear. Well done for your progress so far keep on going 🇻🇳☘️🥰 Thanks for watching and hopefully see you in the next video 😊

Hi guys, I just came across your channel and subscribed. I retired and moved from the U.S. to District 3 six months ago, and that park and Catholic church is 5 minutes from my apartment. I have been to Lê Văn Tám Park many times to walk around, however, not at 5:00 am! I have never tried Xôi, but I will be going there tomorrow to buy some. BTW, I have been learning Vietnamese for the past two years, so I can speak at a conversational level.
Wow! We are happy to hear your living in Vietnam 🇻🇳 Hopefully we'll see you around Lê Văn Tám park sometime soon! Xôi Is so delicious 🤤 It’s a big park there and lots of activity to do. @@RickyandKacey That's awesome! I'm envious! I lived in VN from 1999 to 2007. My biggest regret is moving back to the UK. I thought it best for my son to go to school in the UK but since then I've always dreamed of moving back to VN. Honestly, he would of been just fine going to school in VN.
That’s great you got to experience Vietnam before at that time 😀 For sure there so many international schools in Vietnam now and would still be able to have a good education. I am happy to hear that you’re planning to come back to Vietnam again. I am so happy I moved to this beautiful place. Hope we see You in Vietnam soon 🇻🇳
Great video guys. This true "culture" and "social" pictures are rarely seen in many videos on TH-cam about VN. I remember how local Vietnamese told me you need both healthy mind and healthy body and it shows in their daily life. Very positive, hard working in work or exercise. And it's everywhere too. From early risers in the rural areas to the beach city to cities like HCMC and Ha Noi. The food is fresh. They sure make up their wealth shortcomings with a rich family/social/healthy life.
