That's exciting. When a spirit uses your vocal chords to speak, you are unable to see visions at the same time because you step back and allow the spirit to come in. Did you stop seeing the movement/vision while you were speaking in his voice?

I had an experience with a dark entity, many years ago. It was very unpleasant, so I have since been careful to set the intention to connect only with spirits from the light.

The most important thing is relaxation. Breathe in and out slowly and quietly until you are so relaxed you feel like going to sleep. You may find it helpful to breathe in and out slowly and focus only on the breathing. You may also imagine expanding your energy as you breathe out. This will enable you to raise your vibration, as they can’t lower their vibration to match yours, you must raise yours to match the spirit’s vibration. As Beshurra said in his trance message, "So imagine yourself in my space. Just be there, so I can join with you. Like Dori in Finding Nemo, you can join with me, too. I’m really only right here. See that speck - be there. You have to decide about meeting me - not half way - all the way. Singing voice: Got to be there, be there…be me." He was referring to the energy you might be able to visualize in your mind. Expand your energy to raise your vibration so you reach the spirit’s energy. If you are unable to visualize the spirit’s energy, imagine or pretend that you can. I hope this works for you. One of the purposes of the life review is that this enables you to integrate your experiences, which facilitates evolution, so that you will eventually no longer need to reincarnate.

I believe spirits who choose to be beings of love and light are aware of their growth and positive contributions. The life review enables them to understand and be compassionate for those they have harmed to enable them to apologize and facilitate healing, if they are contacted on the other side. Thanks. The number of times it takes to connect is different for everyone. The most important thing is that you are relaxed. Ask a spirit guide to come to you and then sit for a while to see whether you notice a spirit guide's presence. Take your time and notice whatever comes to you. You may be aware of feelings and energy. You may receive fleeting visual images or simply know things about this spirit guide without knowing where it came from. It may feel like you are imagining it or making it up, but it is important to trust whatever impressions you receive. I hope you will keep practicing. It is only through practice that you may become more confident about any impressions or messages you receive.
