Hi there and thanks for putting this up on youtube! Appreciate it and all the info contained :) (already fired up "How to Shoot: A Rocket League Masterclass" in the next tab :D ) Now I'm just a rather casual player around high plat, low diamond in 3's and 2's and I feel like I've heard/read quite a few of those tips you mentioned but - having them all in one. single. place. really helps out! Great summary!! :D Now maby you have something already being planned around this but what I am really interested in would be: How does one go about physically warming up? Like doing variations of circular movements with the joints, stretching carefully (always careful when stretching as part of a warm up. the "hard" stretches would come after workout!) and I don't know. Some form of movements, repetitions focussed on how to sit properly and as healthy as possible. I'm a 32 year old, quite lazy dude who doesn't do lots of sports.. I don't expect you solve any of my issues but - I think if I knew in advance what movements are good to warm up and what positions yield in better results in my spine's health and what not, I think I'd have an easier time by now! There's quite a couple of videos from some physicians about healthy gaming poses and all that and I'm frankly not sure if I'm just too lazy to do my own, comprehensive research (which I really don't want to deny here) but I feel like some bundled form why shoulders, lower, upper back, neck and hands play a vital role also while playing RL. Oh and don't forget about the legs.. one thing I already noticed is: Having my knees at a 90° angle while sitting at my desk and playing(or anything else really) might take some time to get used to because it's "not really all that comfy" to start with - but it directly affects the ability to keep my back straight and sit correctly. Okay. Thanks for reading this hopefully not too random stuff.. ^^" For any misunderstandings pls don't hesitate to ask. While I make it look like I know how to "say stuff" I'm not a native speaker and am sometimes more oriented in "what sounds good" instead of "this is what I really meant" ;) Cheers~

so much good information, ive enjoyed watching many of your videos so far. One moment I saw that could be considered misinformation is when you were discussing AyyJayy's kickoffs and said he was side flipping on the contact of the ball. If you watch the controller overlay, you can see that he speed flips on the contact. I notice that when I side flip on contact, my car will generally skim the ball and makes for a bad contact and recovery. speed flipping through the ball has given me much better contact and a faster recovery as opposed to using a side flip on contact.

Because it is waaaaay too shallow. All the overhead "what is it" / "why is it useful" / "bind it" everyone who searches for this stuff already knows, and when it comes to "how to learn" all he's got is "it's a feeling". For a real good tutorial (but be warned, it's a full movie and I'm not even exaggerating) look up the Losfeld method. Pretty much the only guy actually breaking it down.

I assume by the heart you mean I may. I like how you break it down, but in the end you kinda just say "idk do stuff and you'll figure it out" Theory about how inputs actually register, and drills to put it into practice are key to understanding how to improve more quickly. 3 years experience skateboarding coach btw.

very interesting and well thought out video. i have my left air roll and right air roll on LB/RB respectively, but i never use normal air roll even though i have it bound on X. watching this video made me realize how much of a use normal air roll actually has in gameplay, even though i mainly only use air roll left and then use my air roll right for recoveries. i might actually rebind some controls and just tank the MMR. thanks for sharing the insightful coaching session, sky
