The model that we have uses regular AA batteries, but you can get rechargeable AAs and they work pretty well.

When we found the break, we decided to document it and reach out to others who have had more experience in the field to get their opinions on it. But I've never once claimed to have proof of any kind.

I sure did. They had lots of famous castings there and just so much cool stuff. They basically built my dream house. Definitely worth the trip if you're into the subject.

So far, we haven't had any issues with it. We're currently planning more trips out, and it'll be put to some heavier use. Right now, it does just fine for our purposes. We'll see how it holds up in the long run.

@@HowlingUnderdogFilmscould I mount this on anything, I’m very very new to night vision devices and I was wondering if I could mount this to something like a helmet or a hat.

@AnotherHaloGamer I'm not sure how it would go as far as a helmet or a hat. It might be too bulky. This is more fit for something like a tripod, as the image is always zoomed in a bit. If you're looking for something like military style night vision goggles, I saw some on Amazon that looked pretty nice and I might look into those in the future. However, I haven't tried those yet and am not sure how well they preform.

I wish that I could say that it still looked like that. This was actually filmed a couple of years ago. There's been a road put through there since then and so much has now changed.

I'm currently filming a documentary series that's already had me roaming around Chattahoochee Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway, plus a few more places are in the works. I've had some amazing chill time in some absolutely beautiful places. As for this particular location, I'm just happy that I got to see, experience, and explore it in its natural state.

@@kushcraft9914 Thank you! That means a lot. Judaculla was something that I worked on for quite a while and it was my first attempt. I'm working on a (sort of) follow up now.

I'd gone through there at night a time or two. By then I'd already known about them and it wasn't bad. The first time I saw them was broad daylight. My buddy told me to look down and one was at my feet staring at me! Made me jump!
