We loved our time on her. The food could be better but there was always something to eat somewhere on the ship. Have a beautiful vacation 😎 Cruising with Mom is priceless!

Thank you so much for that recommendation! I wrote it down. We're supposed to go to Galveston next month and Cajun Greek might very well be our dinner spot! We wanted to try Katie's but we ate way too much that day lol While at fisherman's wharf everyone's food was looking really good so we'll have to go back eventually to have lunch there on of these days but that Cajun Greek sounds really good!

Hi @@travelgrl1789 Thank you for watching our video! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment too. So we made a whole other video before this one with the hotel we usually stay at. It's called the Courtyard Galveston Island and the address is 9550 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77554. It's not too far from port and because we drive down and they have complimentary parking, a bar, pool and good rooms we've been choosing them a few times now. Whatever question you have feel free to comment them. We try to check TH-cam daily and respond back to the questions asap.

​@ExpeditionGenao Thank you so much for the quick reply. I'll be cruising on Mariner next month. Your tips are very helpful. The smoking just kills me over there. Nothing against smokers, but knowing to grab and go sit somewhere else is helpful. The tip to answer the two questions and video pre port arrival is an excellent tip and the parking information was great.

@@rantybaby1327 so when I look it up on Google map it says courtyard Galveston Island. But on the hotel itself it has the name Courtyard by Marriott. I would just put the address on Google map so you see the exact location.

@@reeced6724 you're in for a surprise!! It changed so much. You can actually hang out right at port now in the pool. They did an amazing job revamping the port area. Now I wish they would do the same right outside of port too! They have so much potential.

Muchas gracias por la información. Nos vamos el 11 de noviembre. Me alegra saber que Royal Caribbean pensó en los latinos. Somos de Puerto Rico y siempre salimos de los puerto de Puerto Rico y los cruceros siempre tienen propuestas de música latina. Es la primera vez que iremos a Port Cañabera y ya teníamos la idea de que al salir de Estados Unidos no íbamos a encontrar música latina.

@@ExpeditionGenao Thank you. But when it starts sailing, I supposed you need to pay Wifi right? Do you happen to know how international roaming works well? I am targeting this Christmas...

@@shuyiyan1482 so when we get on the actual ship we put our phone in airplane mode and use the ship wifi for the royal Caribbean app. We don't pay for the wifi because we don't need the Internet when we cruise, we're always together so we don't need to communicate with each other over the phone. We just stay on The ship's general wifi which just gives you access to the royal Caribbean app so that you can see the daily activities, menus and shows etc... as for the roaming it'll all depend on your phone company. We always put ours in airplane mode so that we don't end up with a surprise bill with our phone company. A lot of people buy the Internet package to stay in touch while they are are sea or to work etc ... We never bought it because we realized we actually didn't need to keep up with anything on land while on vacation.

For us just pulling into port of Roatan and smelling that Green Mountain Air is magical! 🌄 It takes your breath away looking out to the landscape on the lido deck.

Whenever we weren't watching the shows we were on the hunt for food 🤣 If you sail on Mariner and if she's still there, make sure you catch the Whitney Houston Tribute by Stephani Parker, it was so Good! The ice show was alright. We pretty much used this cruise to relax and walk around, eat, and drink. When we did Harmony of the seas they had a lot more entertainment compared to Mariner. Are you going on Mariner soon?

Hi @FoodiesVacations ! Thank you for watching our little video! We appreciate you. So far it usually falls on the 4th night but it can change depending on the ship. The way I usually find out is by checking the daily planner or the main dining room meal menu for each night. It'll usually say if they will serve Italian, French, Mediterranean, Caribbean etc..

Hi @@HumbertoTorres-r6r ! Happy Friday 😊 So we drove down and used our vehicle for this trip. If we didn't have our vehicle we probably would have just ubered to port. It's about a 15 minute ride.

@@HumbertoTorres-r6r So we drove down the day before the cruise and stayed at a hotel close to port. The following day we left the hotel and headed to the port and parked at port for the cruise. The port parking isn't complimentary so we had to pay for the port parking right across the terminal.

Hi @@jackiesneed17 ! Thank you for checking our video out, we appreciate you 😊 So the deal is pretty much just for you to purchase them on the first day. They will hold on to it until the last night of the cruise and then drop them off in the cabin for you. In regards to the drink package I always say get it for the pure convenience of not getting that bill at the end of the cruise if your budget allows it. I drink about 3-5 mimosas for breakfast, I don't know if its me or the champagne flute is on the smaller side 😂 but if your budget allows it I say go for it. It'll include your good coffees in the morning and Gatorade and waters etc ..besides your alcoholic stuff. The package price is definitely priced at more than it should be but I get it just for the convenience of it. It's one less thing you have to worry about.

Hi @@KL-vc8mt So we did the 3 night Dining package for this sailing because we wanted to have hibachi and go to the steakhouse too. When I look back at my email we paid for $318.54 gratuities were included for the package. And that was for the 2 adults and 1 child. If you can, definitely get the package so if you don't feel like eating at the included places atleast you can go have a nice sit down meal. I noticed the prices are always changing for each sailing so keep track of it so get a decent price.

😂 well we been getting disappointed on the few last cruises we been on. They usually put it out on Caribbean Night in the buffet and it's been maybe like 3 times already they stop serving it. Hopefully you get better luck than us. when you cruise again on royal make sure you stop by the buffet and walk around to see if you find it.
