I just checked Gun.Deals and nobody has the stainless steel version but there are many blued ones out there for around $490

I never buy tickets for indy. I just get lucky with scalpers. I like to sit down in 3 and 4. So you can watch the cars thru the short shoot either down the back or going up the front. I always go to Anderson every year for the little 500 on Saturday. I believe my last name was the same as yours. But my great grandfather changed it for the service. Hope to meet you in the month of May

Don’t quite know why so many people like to sit on the front straight. Best seats are high up in any of the 4 corners to actually see the tough passes.

It's an Abruzzi PowerGlide and it does have a transbrake.

Unfortunately it rusted away to nothing. The drivetrain went into a 1974 F100 where it then became a 521 cid with 800 HP. It was nuts..

Hey.. Thanks for asking. UPR Kmember & Aarms. I made my own spacers. I used 1" x 1 1/2" x 13" pieces of Aluminium bar stock I got from metal supermarket. I drilled out the two holes on each one a bit oversize & put a steel sleeve in it before I installed it and ran bolts through it. Worked great.

Thanks! I had to buy the rail. It was $40.95 from Amazon. Search for this on Amazon and you will find it "TANDEMKROSS "Shadow Picatinny Rail for Ruger Mark Series and 22/45 (Black)". The Ruger already has screw holes in the top of the gun to accept the rail. You have to use the rail. It doesn't just bolt to the top.

Yep.. That was no effect either. It just turned out that way. I couldn't explain it better then you just did.

@@fnafplayer6447 That would have been fun. The car has an automatic Powerglide in it. No manual. It has a transbrake. That is how it rev's up so high on the line. Let go of the button and it's just like dumping the clutch in a stick shift.

It is a CompCams custom grind spec’d out by Lem Evans from BF Evans Ford. It’s over .800 lift on both intake and the exhaust and duration is measured with a calendar.

I have a 1992 f350 with the 460. If it’s cold enough, about 50f and below, it sounds like a ww2 airplane starting up. Super choked out but it sounds awesome

I’ve got about $80 grand in the whole car. Not sure about just the motor only.

It was a great week for sure but I missed his fastest pass that week. I was busy screwing with my car... I have not seen anything posted about 2021 Drag Week. I would have thought they would have at least announced tracks or something. We are into sign up time now. I have no idea what they are doing...

I hear you on that, been checking every day just to see. Supposedly there is good news per frieburger and some people have been hinting but not saying. Either way ya know.... i know summit Midwest drags are happening but for now drag week is a hopefully a possibility

Here is my build thread. I threw the parts book at it. The video is when it had the stock long block. The car now has a long block from Tune Plus. www.mustangecoboost.net/threads/mrscharfenbergers-2015-ecoboost-build.4017/

The motor ran perfect right up until the day I pulled it out. It had a little over 28,000 when it was pulled out. I replaced it with a built long block from Tune++ for "no apparent reason". the original motor is on an engine stand in my garage. It ran a best of 7.57 in the 1/8th mile at 94.xx miles per hour. It was a hoot and could whip a stock GT pretty easy the way it was. I think the key is not using an out of the box tune from any of the tuning companies. Pay to get your car tuned by a professional. Get it on a dyno, do pulls & let them tweak the tune with all the mods you intend to do. It that expensive? Kind of. But it is way cheaper than replacing the motor. With that said there are no guarantees. Sometimes you just have to be prepared to eat it. That is the nature of the hobby. I can't stand people that blame tuners when things break. We take our car to the tuner. The tuners don't come to us & f@@k with our cars. We take our cars to them. Good luck!! It's fun!!
