Class 4 shingles are all good except the certainteed. N last 2 years my company who puts many certainteed, OKC and malarkey products and have done so for 40 yrs. In 2023. We uncovered 11 truly defective roofs. 10 of these were the same certainteed class 4 product. Plus as always, they deny all claims. I hope to be the driving force behind this suit. Customers trusts us to get the truth. When one greedy manufacturer gets outside only those of us who sell this crappy product and think they just get by with it.

We are getting a new roof in the next week or so. Good information I will make sure they furnish that cover.

ran a business for 25 years, usually collected up to 75% up front for product which was usually 60% or more of total bid. I sm not a bank and will not finance product and I protect myself when it comes to the potential of not being paid for labor also. So I charged for all product at retail up front and 1/2 labor. Never had an unsatisfied client.

Screw contracts, just pay me when I'm done or I'm tearing it down. That's just how it is around where I live

I’ve been doing construction for 25 years where the leak shows you where it is on the ceiling but where it’s coming in I’ve seen water leak run down a rafter six or maybe 7 feet and where it dripped off a splinter and that’s where the leak appeared but where it was coming in was 6 or 7 feet away
