Both have very weak engines, the aygos is even worse than kia

Test drove the 1.0 manual today, very noisy and unrefined in 1st and second gears and zero acceleration from 3rd up. Drove well but badly needs a turbo.

But it offers a lot more tech. Not to mention the engine is better according to some reviews.

Obviously EVs use energy instead of fuel. As stated in the video, the figures are converted to understand how efficient EVs are using a like-for-like comparable metric.

@@hman1_03 Thank you. I can also report that’s is very well built with excellent panel gaps, nothing rattles, everything works perfectly. Typical VW issues which I suspect are due more to planned obsolescence are leaking plastic water pump, feeble under bonnet plastics and some electrical issues. My model runs the EA211 1.4T and an Asin 8 speed torque converter auto, so the drivetrain should last.

I don't understand why people are cailing this junk?

Hey James. Remote engine start is stock and comes standard on all models in Australia! 😎

Because in Australia the i30 is a big seller whereas the Elantra wasn’t, so they discontinued the Elantra name and lineup, and replaced it with the i30 nameplate, so now all Elantra models in Australia are called “i30 Sedan”, it’s just a marketing tactic as it would attract more buyers, it’s silly I know but that’s just the way we roll down under.

You'll find that EVs are more than sufficient for typical daily needs. Of course, it's not for everyone... 😉

Good point! There's a custom drive mode to force RWD as well. But, while the AWD's rear motor has slightly less power, the larger wheels and Pirelli P Zero tyres on the AWD Techniq and Epiq in Australia likely mean it'll still be less efficient in RWD mode. Interested this out, though...

It all depends on your needs - the Ioniq 5 is more practical, but Ioniq 6 offers longer range and Bluelink tech. There's also the personal design preference (for me, the Ioniq 6 interior feels more unique, but Ioniq 5 has less hard plastics on the doors) - and, importantly whether you're willing to wait on supply depending on the model/configuration. @@Alex-ss4ry 😆Blame lax emissions and noise standards, though it's set to change here... Newly-released Hyundai group cars we get here do have the annoying EU mandated speed limit warning, though!
