This house was built by my LaTourette Ancestors. Jean (John) Latourette, the weaver, lived in Fountain County, Indiana, and was my 4x great grandfather.
Using this for my project

You make some great videos. I live in Western NY, and I always wondered what the areas around NYC looked like. Thanks.

Amazing old wilderness so close to NYC.
Love the close ups on those beautiful flowers!
2:25 is the sweetest part. The piano sounds are very soothing. I hope to come back here for Christmas time. Moravian Cemetery warms my heart ♥️💕💐♥️

Better skip this series.
One of my favorite places to visit. Such a beautiful place. Very quiet too. I love that it’s quiet. Makes nature speak for itself. ~
So beautiful!

Such beautiful views and love the Autumn colours
Beautiful nature and video!🤩
After reading about Herman Melville's family's extensive ties with Snug Harbor, it was great to see it. Thanks!
Love the reflection of the sunrise in the water and on the buildings! Great video!
how did you get in and where do you walk?
The answer is in the video at 19 second.
Hey, I had a quick question regarding your North Shore Branch exploration. While you were walking the tracks did you encounter any spurs that deviated from the normal commuter path of the track? I've been doin a lot of research and noted that there were at least 2 businesses that used the tracks even up until the 1980s or 90s. Wanted to see if you had any information. Thanks!
I remember one track going south from underneath of Granite Av towards businesses located between Lake Av and Granite Av . I don't know what kind businesses where there at 80s and 90s. There is another short section of parallel third track going down Eastward toward Nicholas Av with concrete platform or old street next to it.
Absolutely love this video!
I really enjoyed the walk along the hudson river today, very beautiful!!!

My GGGGrandfather William Henry Appleton was the owner for almost 40 years. It's truly a beautiful place, perhaps the most amazing views in the 5 boroughs. More stories etc., but hope you visit it!
