I am in total understanding with the oven, so dangerous and they are so quick. I have 2 cats one grey and a tuxedo both 6 months old. My tuxedo has no fear. I have to lock him up when using the oven. I hate it but it's so dangerous for him. I have caught him on 2 occasions just before he went into the oven, after that he has to be locked up. SO SCARY!!!

my orange cat destroyed the mesh part of our little cat door. I have seen him trying to push his body through the tiny window. The door is unlocked. He could just go through it normally. But no. Why would he do that?

Lol To be fair, I have one cat I can't tell about and one that is very sharp, neither would spend more than a few seconds with that thing and then they would sit and wait like Tuna did, for me to just give them treats. This might just be a test of entitlement or laziness. Lol

My orange cat jumped into the dryer when I wasn't looking and took a couple tumbles, Fortunately, the dryer was making alot of noise, so I opened the door and there's my goofy orange boy, tangled in a sheet. I'm extra careful now around the dryer

My late baby Kusskuss was a fighter as is Batman but he is an intact tom, somehow I think Kusskuss, for all her small size would have chased Batman off the roof too if she had still been here! Batman has peed on the hose on the roof but thats right close to where Kusskuss used to sit so maybe he smells her but he hasn't sprayed or peed inside the house despite being intact (people say they do but I havent experienced that with Toms I have had.

According no to Wikihow, you need to “disengage the self-cleaner” or turn off the power. I will continue to search and let you know if I find anything more helpful. I hope things improve for you guys.

I had an orange cat that was what I called my Zen Buddhist Just say no kitty. He refused and ran from catnip, refused all things that resembled meat (he'd eat kibble but not actual meat), never killed anything, not a fly, or a mouse, etc. He trained my younger cat to politely sit while having her nails trimmed, and after a night of playing on Christmas eve, went to sleep and moved on to a higher plane of existance by Christmas morning without ever showing a single sign of illness. I do believe he is the reason most orange cats have so few brain cells, because I believe as a reincarnated person of enlightenment, he had claimed all orange cat brain cells for the last few and possibly next few (human) generations. He watched over my human babies and tolerated them playing with him. He was quite well loved by everyone, even those who claimed to not like cats. As a not quite grown cat, he appeared magically at my house when I moved in, and decided to be our cat for a few years past a decade before moving on to Nirvana.
