Nice walk my friend, as you know you are getting close to my hood, so a few observations: - The HC Ørsted power plant (one of my favorite buildings in Copenhagen) is running on natural gas. - The empty construction yard you saw after taking pictures of the plant have been part of a bit of a controversy, and currently they are trying to figure out what to do with it. - The yellow buildings with the private docks were home to none other than F1 legend Kevin Magnussen, and are the most expensive properties in southern Copenhagen. Right now they go for somewhere in the area of 18-20.000.000DKK which is around 2.4-2.5 million euro! - The issue with the bicycle bridge is, that where they want to build it, there is only a small road with a kindergarten on it, which already now has more traffic than it can handle. They argue that it should be moved to one of the areas that still have not been developed just a few hundred meters away. Right now they need to completely change the existing road and canals to be able to ensure the safety of the kids and bikers. Instead people suggest they move it to the area where they already have been building the new metro/subway station. In that way it would also be accommodating for more people from the areas south of there (Teglholmen). - The small church-looking house with the bar has been there for around 100 years, it used to be a pump housing that would pump water and gas across the channel.

It's very surreal seeing another person on the Internet walking around the exact same streets around which you've walked yourself. A foreigner no less

The yellow buildings were build back in 1909 for the workers of the Danish Railroads (DSB). It used to be called Kineserbyen (the Chinese town) due to the color of the building, nowadays I think it's just called "The Yellow Town". As far as I can tell, DSB sold the buildings back in 2015. Until then it was mostly retired DSB employees living there, but now it appears to be more regular houses for rent.

Lovely trees

I wish I lived in a place with as much infrastructure as Copenhagen, and a place where you can walk/cycle practically anywhere safely at that. I’d imagine even I’d be able to go anywhere in Denmark with my guide dog because you can walk or use public transport to get everywhere. If I could show you our British roads and public transport systems, and the state they’re in, you would be shocked to the core. My country has the worst roads in Europe but the local authorities won’t do much about this. As I can’t drive myself, I walk or take a bus or train, otherwise I have to be driven everywhere. Unfortunately I live in an area in the South East of England where the public transport is a bit unreliable at best - buses sometimes not turning up, trains cancelled/delayed/on strike and so-on. There aren’t many direct routes either, so you have to change at so many stations or stops to get to where you need to go. I don’t mean to complain about my country, but watching your videos makes me want to be in the videos with you so badly.

Very interesting and beautiful, you picked a great time of day to go walking, so peaceful. As for the weather...here in south east England it is 12C and, in local parlance, absolutely pissing it down. I would definitely prefer cold and dry (though maybe not minus 15C!).
