Hot Water Music - Drag my Body (Bass Cover)
Been wanting a shell pink P-bass and finally scored a great deal on a Nash -- So of course had to give it a run on one of my favorite bass lines of all time...sorry for the flubs...was really into the song and not so much on getting it perfect, haha. I know a P-Bass with flatwounds isn't exactly the "HWM" bass tone...but the Lollar pickups in this thing (with the low string setup) really has a nice growl to it.

Nash P Bass into Kemper (MBritt profile) into Focusrite Clarett 2Pre into Studio One 4. Little compression and EQ on the bass and also tried to EQ the original bass out of the backing track as best as possible.

Quite a few mistakes on this one...and definitely not 100% accurate...but it's one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands so I had to give it a go. Had to do some tap dancing with the pedals so it made for an interesting time. I tried to lower Mark's guitar parts using selective EQ...but it kind of made it have a weird hollow effect as you'll probably notice when my guitar drops out...
