A great day and another amazing experience with the Blue Angels.
😮💯
I had a pair of these back in '92 - 2010, great speakers
can you give me the link for the silver car you talked about at the beginning of ur video
Is this your car?? You don’t live in California I’m guessing? Lol
Where is your location? ( shipments)
Midwest. The listing is on reverb.com
Great speakers
🤘
I did an LS swap on my car about 4 years ago and removed the original computer and it’s harness just like you did. My hvac blower still works except for the high speed. That 4 position connector near the accumulator was getting power from a cable on the starter for the high speed. Is your ac fully functional?
I’m putting my olds cutlass supreme together. Trying to figure out what to do with that harness. So u just delete the ecm and harness? What about the trans plug?
You need a lockup module. I used the Bowler kit
Junk that whole mfr
deep bass or not
Graves pero no profundos.
very helpful information! about to give my dads 87 ss very similar treatment. looking forward to seeing to final result come spring time!
when you removed the computer did you have any trouble with the cruise control in outher words does it have any affect on cc
I've been planning an update with this information here in the coming few weeks. Taken straight from www.montecarloss.com, here is the information from a sticky thread: Find your buffer box, it is a small green box located behind the stereo(drivers side) there is a total of 7 wires coming out of it. Three are together coming out of the bottom (RED, GREEN, BLACK) these wires run to the VSS on the back of the speedo, GREEN is 12V, BLACK is Ground, and RED is the SIGNAL to the BUFFER. Next you will find two harnesses on the top off the buffer box, one SINGLE YELLOW wire, this sends the signal to the Cruise Control Module, also there is a 3 wire harness, this is where the BIG PROBLEM lies, PINK/W BLACK STRIPE wire is your 12V to power the VSS, BLACK/W WHITE STRIPE this is the GROUND, THIS WIRE USED TO GROUND TO THE COMPUTER HARNESS, THAT IS WHY YOUR CRUISE WONT WORK!!! CUT THIS WIRE AND GROUND IT WITH YOUR STEREO HARNESS. NOW YOUR CRUISE SHOULD WORK. Also has a brown wire, this can be ignored, it is the VSS signal to the computer.
Have you tested the a/c yet? Thanks
I won't have the car running until spring, but I got this information from several people who've successfully done this just as I described. I also have the electrical diagrams that confirm this. Once the car is running, I'll update this video. I wanted to show what needed done before anything was cut or removed.
@@AeroSS87 working on my '84 SS harness, any good news?
Anybody have a sub-woofer that produces a low frequency quiet hum?. It is not the sub-woofer itself (I don't think). I can leave it plugged in and powered on and there will be NO HUM if I disconnect the inter-connect cables that are plugged from my sub to my AMP. Can the AMP itself cause a ground loop? I heard a "Isolation Transformer/Ground Loop Hum Eliminator" might help? Any suggestions? I like to listen to Jazz a lot and that music can be dynamic. Even though the hum is not very loud - During quiet passages in Jazz the noise can be very noticeable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Can’t go wrong with a SVS
Can this on s1pro bose?
Nope.. wrong combination.. 2 different combinations.. home audio and professional audio equipment.. they both do different things.. Trust me. Pair your S1 Pro with a Bose sub1 or sub2.. as you please.. but not with home audio equipment 👍.. you don't need 20hz for party use.. you will loose loudness!
what is this piece of furniture on the sub?
I have polks signature s60 wich can get to 26hz and i want to buy pb 1000 pro or sb 1000 pro and eventually center and surround speakers from polk signature series wich can get to 40hz. I will to set the crossover to 40hz. I wanna listen to music but also watch some movies on it. So my thought is, in the music the towers will play punchy bass and sub will play just lowest frequencies so I thing I can get pb 1000 pro cause it will be good for the lowest bass in the music and also for movies. (my room is 12 meters)
I hope Dr Dre is an audiologist.
These are great little subs. I just built a 5.1.2 surround with this sub. Its great for movies and music. I have the Ultra bookshelf/center for my fronts, the ultra surrounds and the elevations for overhead. I can't imagine having a bigger sub or floor standing speakers. Plenty of juice that hopefully isn't pissing the neighbors off. lol
Is one enough? Also, do you have a name for the table it's on?
Hey man, do you recommend this sub over the pb1000 if I were to use it to listen to music because I know that the pb1000 goes down to 19hz and the sb1000 only to 24hz so is it worth buying the pb1000 for that 5hz difference?
Splitting hairs at that point. You'll never hear the difference. The big question is if you want ported or sealed, and that's only something you can answer. For home theater, I believe in ported. For a stereo/music application, I prefer sealed as it's tighter and not boomy.
@@AeroSS87 Right, I think I'll go with the sb1000. Thanks for the advice.
@@AeroSS87 Mate, how long did it take you to break in your subwoofer?
it's not just a 5hz difference the ported one will be much more effortless in the lows
@@LucasFerreira-gx9yh I ended up buying the pb1000 and now I’ve got a second one. I wasn’t disappointed 😁
Im thinking about adding a SVS 1000/2000 to my floorstanding speakers because the bass is deep but too soft in music (lacking punch). Do you think it'll improve the punch and impact of the bass or should i just be looking for new speakers alltogether?
That's exactly what I got these for, and it fills the void more than perfectly. I have an sb1000 underneath each of my main loudspeakers. The mains are rebuilt B&O RL140"s, powered by a 1975 Kenwood KR9400 rated at 120x2, all recapped. If only we had further technology that I could give a full system demo over TH-cam that would accurately portray just how well balanced it all is.
Just be sure to get a sealed enclosure. Ported will be too boomy and not as punchy. Leave ported to home theater 😎
@@AeroSS87 Thanks mate

hahahahaha that was totally funny that alarm
u are smart dood. will you subscribe by my channel?
Actually, Probes ARE japanese cars. They were manufactured by Mazda and used a Mazda chassis, and every engine made in ALL Probes (except for the 90-92 LX as seen here which is a Ford 3.0L Vulcan V6) is also Mazda.
If i Cant have it nobody can! ha aha ahahahah
yes, bought it from Travis, who owns a shitload of stangs. yes, and could barely see out the windshield and the 9 bolt actually doesnt make any noise, the exhaust rubs on a bar, but it doesnt cross my name of what its called. (the red one, that stops the rear end from bouncing in a hard launch)
@jordan2921 did you buy it in the last two months from the aurora area and currently reside in lincoln? were you cruising O street saturday night in the dense humity? does the 9 bolt rear end sound like a can of rocks inside a blender? if you answered yes to any of these, then you might be right
you may not believe this... but i actually own this TA. theres not another blue/silver one with exhaust that low in nebraska.
could have replaced the cam...
@IxIcOIrIEyIxI it turned out to have an intake end seal leaking. once i took care of that and went through my holley 750, it ran great. didnt have a high enough converter so the low end was worthless. still screamed up top. the car now has a 3700 stall and a new 383 bottom end with the same top end i put on it. unfortunately its my friends car now but he wants to sell it back. i may have to
@V8TransAmGTA it was a .030 over 11:1 solid roller 307 chevy with rhs pro action heads.
