We had a compression release fail on this Road Glide. We took off the rear cylinder head to reveal a piece was bouncing around in the top end. We ended up putting one of our 124 cubic inch cylinder kits on this motor with stock cylinder heads and a zippers RS468 cam. Sounds great, bike pulls hard. What manufacturer of 95” kit did you go with & how do you like the rpm range of the Reaper 543 cams? Looking at the 543’s for my 06 sense I don’t lug around in lower rpm’s. When cruising I usually always select althe gear that puts me around 2500+/-. Most likely just gona do cams & camchest upgrades this winter. Possibly do Zippers muscle 98” kit winter of 25’. Killer job! Bike sounds awesome & looks wicked with all the black covers! 🤘🏻
This was a screamin eagle 95 kit. We are a shop and don't use a kit like that. We have our own 98 kits.

How much power did it make?
It did 115hp on the DYNO 122tq. We didn't pick the parts combo. But the bike runs good.
What are these slupper clothes I've been hearing about ? I had someone asking me if I have a S.A. (slip assist) clutch. I said, I have no idea, I've never heard of it. My bike is a 2016 streetglide. How would a person know if they have a slipper clutch
If its a CVO model it may have one, if not a 2016 has a standard clutch.

Cam, pipe, intake and tune! This bike feels extremely well. Its a great cam for a touring bike for sure.
@@aplusperformancecycleinc Thank you! Your bike sounds like I would like mine to sound. I already have the stage 1 kit with true duals Vance and Hines and a Pro Street Racing tuner on an 88 CI. Fuel injected. Goes like snake, but I'd love to have that cam as well. Is yours injected?

Heres something that will surprise you. They rode it in that way and could have also rode it permanently like that and it wouldnt have hurt anything. I have removed tensioners on several twin cam 88s and ran them for years without them

About time ...pushing a nearly 900 lb motorcycle up an incline isn't fun. While the Goldwing uses the starter motor, reverse was incorporated into the design over 30 years ago.

25 hp gain is impressive. Have a '23 LRS and it pulls good with 2BR pipe, but restrictive SE tune. Will get a 475 and different tune and it will really fly. The bike in video sounds excellent. Love that raspy idle.

I have the same model year, with the Baja LP6 lights, Sawicki 2-into-1 and a Star Racing 30/30 Cam. Goes fricken well. I reckon that yours sounds darn good 'as is'. I got Thrashin' 9.5 inch riser and high bend bars and it makes the ergonomics very nice. Add in the mini floor boards too.

They will bolt right on. Depending how you want to wire them, they offer a wire harness to make it all plug and play too!
