Last winter, this beautiful male Sparrowhawk sat on a small shed beside my house and began hunting, for over two weeks, from dawn to dusk. At some point I introduced some branches beside the shed, where he could be more sheltered from the wind and he accepted them. Later, I put a security camera there and started following his every move.
In the meantime I was recording everything all day long, through my kitchen window, using my iPhone.
It was a very unique opportunity to see him in action. Mixed feelings of course...
