Which is Best? CA Fixed Magazine Systems Compared! #CAGuns #FixedMag #2A

Relished because GarandThumb made a ballistics video that more or less justified my position. In this video I talk about my frustrations with 300 Blackout due to the ammo shortage during the COVID/BLM/Antifa riots. 300 blackout can be a great choice for your AR platform, if you can find the proper ammunition. Currently, that’s pretty much impossible. In my view, “good ammunition” for 300 blacko...

Quick question for you I noticed what your shooting to me It looks like an AR pistol. I have the same set up. You have the FDE pistol brace on the end. My question for you is I noticed you have the folding pistol brace is it still OK here in California to have the folding brace if it’s an AR pistol because I thought if it was less than 30 inches from the end of the barrel to the folded stock when it’s collapsed, I couldn’t do it. I’m just asking for your advice because I can’t find it anywhere where it’s illegal or if it’s legal, just looking for some advice, I just learned the difference between a standard rifle and a AR pistol and AR pistol can’t have a stock or a sliding stock that you’re able to put up against your shoulder either a pistol brace or just no stock at all like I said, I’m just looking for advice. Wanna see what you have to say about the folding stock mine came with the folding stock when I purchased the AR pistol about six months ago from a friend and my AR pistol is registered. I keep a copy of my registration in the handle with a little compartment just in case I ever get harassed about it when I’m at the gun range. I was told by a buddy to do that if anybody tries to give you a hard time telling me it’s illegal to have it, even though I legally possess it. thank you in advance. Looking forward to your comments.

@@JeffNeelzebub my question was about the folding stock here in California. I understand in California since my AR pistol is registered anything less than 16 inches my question is about the folding stock adapter. Unless I'm mistaken you missed a critical part. The Hogue kit requires drilling a hole in your receiver. Probably not a big deal for a gunsmith with a vice or a mill, but not something I'm going to try at home. I'm notoriously bad at drilling a straight hole and its not worth the risk (to me) of screwing up a good lower. If you actually find a competition in Ca. and are competitive level, a half second will make a difference. If that is life or death for me, it means I've been messin' where I shouldna' been messin'.

The juggernaut tac system is annoying AF when you bolt locks back after the last round. You have to drop the bolt back into battery, then unlock the receiver and then drop the mag, then click the receivers back together and then put in the loaded mag. I’m always thinking something is wrong with my system because I forget to drop the bolt. In addition, this is super dangerous if your not sure the weapon is clear when your going through the reloading process. All these CA laws seam to do is make an amazingly safe and well working gun unsafe for the user and anyone down range.
