I so love watching people using, pin stripe, scrolling brushes and gold leaf. I saved a pack (3 sheets in it) for my students to see as the "Art Store Sticker price" was $6.50 in 1968 ... LOL. I'm often asked for reverse image gold leaf on glass for weddings and club signs. In the USA I lived in Michigan and did so many boats as it's surrounded by the "Great Lakes". Here in Australia, even doing a pin stripe job on trucks is getting rare ... I'm lucky as I retired from teaching and get to pick and choose any project I like... Love your work ... thanks for posting...

Soy colombiana y me encanta el fileteado porteño. Buenísimo tutoriales con marcadores. El fileteado maneja alguna paleta de colores tradicional especifica? Gracias
Hola Marcela! En general se usan colores fuertes y que tengan contraste contra los fondos. Colores rojos, verdes oscuros o azules son bien clásicos para los fondos, ocres, verdes claros, naranjas son buenos para las ornamentaciones. A mi me gusta mucho usar violetas y magentas, pero son menos clásicos.

Thank you! They are specific fileteado brushes, similar to the lettering quills but a little bit longer and with lesser amount of bristles.
@@ferrarifileteados Back in the early 70's I purchased a set of French Quills in Detroit, Michigan as i did a fair amount of pin stripping and I found they could add to my designs. Also an old timer told me to purchase a couple large size ones and then using a razor blade slowly trim down the diameter ... did it and like you stated I now had these longer hair quills. I have a friend (Ex-art student of mine doing your course. Beautiful work,

Reminds me of the ornamental designs of the "Gypsy Caravans" and the old British Circus Signage of the past. Very nice.
Hi, the style has some Resemblance with the gipsy wagons in the kind of Scroll works. But it’s more complex in the use of shadows and lights and volumes!
@@ferrarifileteados I know a lot of artists as I also move to Australia to teach art, from Detroit, Michigan back in 1979 after 9 years US Army ... We took a trip to England last year and I visited "The Gordon Boswell Romany Museum" where I saw the wagons. I used to pinstripe, airbrush murals and signage starting in the 1960's. We also visited Carter's Steam Fair plus took a one week class with Joby Carter doing his Joby Carter's Hand lettering Class ... both are worth a look.
