It may have been or it may not, but suffice to say that this weapon has special use and role. Other weapons can also do it, but not fast enough. I would suggest getting this weapon last. 👌

Air rifle is better for maps like Vardo, kaub, leipzig and even Sam Sebastian due to the range at which you would need to shoot bombers to be extremely short. If you use it well (meaning you ignore shamblers and runners and all of that) you don't need the extra canister. The low pen makes it a little hard to hit bombers behind hordes, but jumping usually fixes that problem

It has its Special use and role. Treat it as an Emergency and conservatively for that one special infected and it will go smoothly all the way to the end. (Unless the whole team fumble lol) Other weapons can also do the job, but you have to know when or who. There will be cracks. Here’s the thing, most of the time on every map, you will have to use your Melee weapon and it relies on your Awareness and a bit of skill + knowledge. Heck! You (+ Team) can just finish the whole map if you use melee and not your Gun. I would suggest on getting this weapon last or unless in the future it may or it may not have changes.

Damage

Try getting it as the last thing that you will buy at Bubble’s Shop. It is not a guarantee for everything, it has its role. I want that weapon to be modifiable at the shop xD I really don’t have an opinion for the price because i have pretty much everything and lots of Francs. Maybe in the future (or peer pressure lol) they will lower it or do some changes.

That means they are good 👍 unless of course they don’t shoot and go straight melee lol which is.. most of the time whenever i join a server and me doing the job shooting Bombers. I got lucky to play with these guys. 😅 The Air Rifle is pretty nice if you know what you are doing + the satisfaction of popping Bombers.

There is a reason for that. lol After being tackled, Bombed, Grabbed and Teammates not helping you, using the down Aim will increase your survival. Situational Awareness is the key. (Even if you are alone or left behind, I learned that the hard way) That is why Sword play is pretty important on this game. I try not to get hit as much as i can and be alerted to runners.

@@spy_thomas8344 It depends.. As for me? I have no problems with it. It has its Uses and Role, how you use it? Is on your own discretion. If it is too costly, don’t buy it as there are other weapons that can also do its job as well. You should get it last tbh, but it will make a difference + if your teammates are also good. (It will be a breeze to get through the maps, all the way to the end)

It has a Special use and Role. It is not a guarantee for everything. Preserving the Air is the play, only the special infected types to be use of it for the weapon. As long as you know what you are doing and your teammates as well, then everything will be a breeze. (We always get to the end) Everybody has to contribute, not standing around or rushing. Lol i am looking at you Roscoff Map.

I have it too and I can say it completely outshines every other gun in holdout sections and endless maps where backliners have an elevated spot to shoot bombers from, like hougomont, la ferme and sometimes la haye if youre confident in your aim to shoot bombers with a single pellet weapon before they reach the top of the ladder. Its pretty much broken because it makes fifers useless where usually they are the most needed (holdout and endless) and makes it so that a single player alone is able to take care of most if not all bombers approaching TL;DR - absolutely broken for holdout sections and most endless maps but near useless for everything else

It’s decent for objective but if you’re trying to track a high endless wave don’t use it.

Not sure if this is cheating , but on endless you can enable class respawn in settings , each round you can respawn and it refreshes your air rifle , making the air rifle have inf air and inf shots . And also for objectives you never use more than 20 - 30 shots if you use it smartly for bombers and igniters , possibly in Kaub or Roscoff it may run out.

Against as many bombers If you can aim, well… it slowly becomes the worst bomber killing rifle that not even a low air shot can fully kill one.

You could get it as the last weapon that you are going to buy. Stick to your own loadout and know your role, then at some point in time you will be able to get everything. Being that expensive mean a lot of things: Cost of producing (for lore sake lol), for the luxury of Rich Players, Developer reasonings or it is for someone that knows what its role for. (Or sometime in the future they give in and lower the price due to pressure from the community xD)

It’s more of an endgame primary, due to it’s sheer round capacity.

It’s expensive in real life, so that counts for something, my only strat is not using it after it becomes useless, die, and shortly after respawn, I NEED my money back.

And that is totally fine. :D It is a matter of preference, as for me? I already have everything (except the two hidden achievements) and do it with pleasure. I know my role well (pretty much adapted to it tbh), and the capacity to have awareness. I trust my teammates that they know what they are doing, and when situation arises, win or lose, even if it get us to the end safely, that is the satisfaction i needed. 👍

@@obber let me be honest it would be good if it wasn’t for buying the canisters and only have 1 or 2 if u bought the canister it would be good if it has unlimited ammo

@ It has unlimited ammo, just that the only limiting is.. the “Air”, hence why the Air Canister. You need to be preserving use of the weapon to special infected types. Only use it when needed, and hope that your teammates share that load with you to get to the end. I do not have any criticism of this weapon or do i recommend it, just that this weapon has special use and role. Whenever i play using this loadout, we always get to the end. (Trust that your teammates knows what they are doing) @endlessgamesandanimations
