'Ratu Na Veli' is our latest series: a comedy-drama [dramedy] set mainly in Serua, Fiji and within a flower plantation and adjoining swamp called Qaviu. The Veli is a forest dwelling creature, a midget of sorts, and a trickster, well known in Fijian mythology. We also make local surfing content, and surfing [and local surfers] is included in the Ratu Na Veli show. We make all kinds of Fiji based content, including a show called Honey Bee - an investigative journalism show - but we are currently too under resourced to spend much time on that. So, in short we make local film in Fiji and promote local talent! We will work with anyone in order to bring Fijian film into a wider audience.
