Lots of mistakes with this one. Spirit Of The Rose was in the 5:00 at Haydock, not the 5:11 at Nottingham. One each way winner and one single place making our ticket -$1.68.
Two places, Bobacious and Bolintlea in their respective races making our ticket -$0.65.
One winner, Ten Ten Twenty in the 5:15 at Uttoxeter. Two places, Miss Dubai and Arkhalia Flynn in there respective races. Our ticket came to -$1.30.
Dubai Treasure in the 5:40 at Wolverhampton making our ticket -$1.24.
Don Rafael in the 3:30 at Stratford was the only winner making our ticket -$0.80.
Jarraaf in the 5:10 at Ascot was the only winner. Natural Look in the 5:35 at Kilbeggan pulled ahead of the pack late in the race, but stopped short of winning, taking second.

Hi, wondering why you have the winds face up (not matching), are they not in play?
The winds and dragons are not in play. As you draw them you then replace them with tiles from the back wall.

New player here and trying to figure out how to play with only 2, as shown in this video. I’m a little confused, though. Are they playing entirely house rules here or is this based on an “official “ (meaning American/British/HK/Taiwan/Traditional/etc) style of play? I’m not understanding where they’re getting walls of 36 tiles and hands of 17 tiles from.
The rules we used are based on a Filipino Mahjong. I can't remember if I "house ruled" anything. We used all the tiles simply because we could. My memory is really foggy around this game so you may have to just google "Filipino Mahjong" and learn from there.
American Mah Jong a corrupted version of real Mah Jong.

There are quite a few variations around the world now. each region has their own thing going on so does it really matter in the end?

using custom rules you make up with your friends is fun! that way nobody has an advantage, and you can decide together what would be the most exciting for you. without “game corruption”, mahjong wouldn’t even exist in the first place

Do you redeal on a Farmer's hand, tens and nines? Or it doesn't apply in in this two handed version?
I don't redeal for a farmers hand. I will have to give it a try. Its not like it will take forever to deal two hands. Go for it.

You can play to 10. We played to 6 because our crib board had a division at 60. 10 holes equals one point etc.....
So you can only get 2 or 1 point? No chance of getting 4? Correct?
We played with 2 for taking all tricks and 1 for the majority. You could set a take all at 4 like when you go alone and take all the tricks in a four player game.

I just realized on the second hand I busted up my double pinochle instead of passing it. I believe after I took back the ace of clubs I forgot about the double pinochle.
We play 2 handed Euchre every Saturday night but were not aware that you could call "no trump", thanks for the video.
I wasn't aware of No Trump in euchre until a few years ago when I saw it offered as an option on a card game site. Thanks for watching.

@@joeop-z2186 We just deal two hands of five cards each. Only the upcard suit is available on the first bidding round. If the first round is passed out, then No Trump and the other suits are available. Here is a quotation from According To Hoyle on two hand euchre "From the regular Euchre pack discard the sevens and eights, reducing it to 24 cards. Two hands are dealt. All rules, including scoring, are as at four-hand, except that there is no declaring "alone," since no partnership play is possible in any case". Hope that answers your question.
@@Retro52 First time I’ve seen “No Trump” played in Euchre, but it does make it more interesting, especially in 2 handed.
Does the dealer always pick up the face up card if it’s made trump ? Or only when it’s a Right Jack ?
