A channel to upload flightsim videos with the goal of studying how to operate different aircrafts. How to do some approaches, landing techniques, cold&dark procedures, etc.
We aim to provide videos of complete flights using X-Plane 11 or MSFS 2020 using different aircrafts, each flight can work as a small and very simple tutorial on how to operate the aircraft. We will try to cover many different planes, sometimes we'll do several flights on the same plane and sometimes we'll jump from one type to another.
Each flight will take off from the location where the last flight ended, without exceptions, so once a flight is done you know exactly where the next one will depart from. As we do this we'll explore the world of X-Plane or MSFS and take a look at the different sceneries that are available.

Laguna Verde (SLDE) to Uyuni (SLUY) | Pilatus PC-24 | MSFS 2024
Taking off from Laguna Verde is a challenge for any airplane, the airfield is at a very high altitude, unpaved and the terrain is soft, the PC-24 with a light load can do it. We fly 150nm north towards Uyuni just next to the largest and most famous salt flats field in the world. Uyuni airport is at 12000ft and features a very long runway so the altitude is not a problem. Flight time is 45 minutes and the weather is gorgeous.

From Little Rock we embark on a longish haul with the C404, this plane can travel long distances and is perfect for this private flight. Our route is SN76 to 7KS9 VFR following the Arkansas River, so this is not going to be a 787. We fly nothing less but a Powrachute, meaning a paramotor. This plane has a real life ceiling of 14.800 ft, and ingame I was able to get it to almost 40.000ft!! You can see lots of work went onto this plane but unfortunately the flight model is not very accurate! I hope thy fix it!
This plane flight dynamic is so wrong... The real life specs say ceiling 14800 feet, the sim also says that, but I was able to fly to almost 40.000 feet in the sim !!!!!!!!!!

How do you maintain that smooth landing in Hover mode? I can be several feet from touch down an then when I'm about to touchdown it goes backward.
I did all you did to start the engines, but no results. I tried CTRL-E and get the same behavior. What can I do wrong? I can fly when start on runway without problems. Cheers!!

How do you turn on the Rotor?
The rotor in an autogyro is not motorized, it auto-rotates. But you have to first get it to some rpms you can do that making sure the rotor brake is off (near the pedals) and then engaging the pre-rotator (command is cowl flaps), this with the gyro stopped. Once you are at about 120rpm release the brakes, throttle up and when you are above 200rpm or so it will lift on his own, while still in ground effect level the gyro and with 300rpm or more you are free to climb and fly normally. Hope this helps.

I have no idea what you are talking about :) :) :) Our videos usually have from 10 to 100 views and we have about 500 subscribers, not a very succesful channel I would say but the idea is to provide quick examples on how to fly planes so people can get started, also some ideas for routes.

Yes give or take, it is intended as an air-taxi so I think anything longer than 100nm wouldn't be realistic.

COWL FLAPS, it is explained in the aircraft manual.

It appears turbocharging isn’t modeled in the 404 in MSFS. 40 inches of manifold pressure should be maintained on takeoff with full throttle. Both MPs were around 35” rolling down the runway.
I can't remember if I was at full throttles or not for the takeoff.

How did you get the pre rotator going. I had to do it through forward motion.
First, be sure to unset the rotor brake (look for the check-list if you don't where it is located). And then you'll need to use the prerotation lever that is located just behind the stick, you can use it manually or use the " cowl flaps" input.

The gyro is the only reason I bought MSFS. Have you flown a real Gyro, and if so how does the sim compare?
Still working on flight model on low speed, so it will be better and better with some updates.
Yes! and in the sim the flight model is really really good. Nothing compared to 2020.

@@corrinspots1265 Yes thats the goal. Some rotor torque is missing too, and the rotor sim need a bit of adjustment :)
Not convinced that the throttle is controlling the altitude properly feels very dependent on pitch attitude. Fuel burn also seamed quite high Other than that and the low speed characteristics. Really good. I have been desperate for a gyro in msfs after doing irl lessons which one day I will go back to.
