Nice work bro. I think I've seen you around on occasion. Some suggestions for the run: - Make use of the crafting time for stone sword and machete. I usually try drag nearby wolves together so I can kill a bunch at once, simultaneously saving time looting their boxes. - This 10 quest variation can be done with book, although timing the <1 day in the forest right can be tricky and a bit of rng is required for the mob spawns. - Aim for crafting ame pick during the first cave visit, or right after planting seeds. Since you'll have fires placed along the way, you can reuse them while crafting the ame pick at the same time as exiting the cave. If you started with 4-6 seeds from the forest and didn't waste waiting to craft more seeds before then, you'll reach your recently grown seeds in time for harvesting just as your pickaxe finishes crafting. - No sword upgrades are needed just for the dragon. The 79 to 69 to 63 difference is not as good as it sounds, and isn't worth the craft time and resources. The sword isn't even needed again until the sandworm and is best recycled at the end of Winter. Shovel upgrades are far more useful although also not too necessary. - Timing when you farm with the tasks of killing the dragon, getting wood for the rest of the run, and gathering ice, is especially important for saving time. If timed well, you'll have finished all your tasks just as the last of your bread has baked, and then you can leave Winter at that moment with nothing left to prep. - Every windmill(1 tick per wheat) can sustain two bread ovens(2 ticks per flour), so in the desert I'll usually have a 3 windmill 5-6 oven setup. - The sandworm can be killed fastest by running in a 2x2 circle(which can work well with roof placement) as the sandworm will never go back down if done right. The key is making those sharp turns to slow you down enough, which also means that you don't have to do it in a circle and can still make sharp turns along a crooked line as you exit the desert(which also stops other sandworms from reaching you). I look forward to seeing future 11 and 12 quest vids bro. Btw if you're wanting to try 12 quests, one tip is that it's possible to reach the lava island with the most chest spawns and still have enough time for the remaining quests(non Black Fur quest variation). Going through desert at night and along the lava shoreline to winter can save both time and fires this route while still preventing damage loss for green gem. Keep in mind this is just a less inconvenient alternative to using a prep run to bring 5 chests to one nearby island, then dying to start the main run.
