Recently visited Canada from australia (not NS, but next time) so were first timers at Tim’s, but became regulars (spent a lot of our trip on the road, a breakfast Timmys was the way to start the day). We get it, ay, Bud 🇨🇦 ….- the cappuccinos are good (caps are what Aussies live off, and are particular about…Starbucks is far from acceptable!) bagels good, a (approx) farmers bacon, sausage, egg roll (we had to read off the wall, never got “Canadian” enough to recite the menu without looking!) warmed me up on cold morning., plus got to briefly chat with locals (“aw sure…). We felt part of it, very Canadian!
Once you order a “double double”, you basically are an honorary Canuck
Red flag for no swimming so we went swimming!!! Lol! Couldn't be more proud😂
We pulled a Shane! lol
3:22 very nice looking beach!
It is!
Nice Rod! Love Chen Rio! We always said that the bars there spike their margaritas they seem extra strong, lol
Nice! The beach bars there are awesome
I am so glad Michelle told me about your channel! Finally, I get to see all this stuff about you guys. Also, I am a huge fan of Hope for wildlife. They have a similar place here but we never get to know much about it. Love you guys... Auntie Laura
Welcome Laura!
Wow!
My account got deleted for some unknown reason but I’ll say it again. What a wonderful hike!
Nice to see more fellow Scotians making videos like this, I have not met many! Nice NC 750 👍🏻
Thanks, my friend. I’ll check out your channel. Our province has great side roads for motorcycle riders! Thanks for watching
@@rockinrodlittle appreciate it buddy 👍🏻
Nice video of the Lawrence Town area. How does your NC 750 handle our wonderful Nova Scotia by roads? I've owned a few Hondas going back to the mid 1960's. My last Honda was a Africa Twin which I found was getting a bit big for me so I sold it. I've eyed the NC for a few years but also found it a bit tall for my ageing short legs. I hear the newer ones have a lower seat height . I live in Cape Breton and the NC looks like it would be a good fit
The NC750 is so well balanced it’s almost too easy to drive the twisty roads. Mine is a 2019 and, at 5’ 8, I am up on tip toes which when loaded down top heavy with camping stuff makes it tricky at stops. I think starting the year after mine they lowered the seat a couple of inches as I sat on one in the showroom and I was flat footed. They only come DCT as well after 2019. Great overall bike and gets about 3 litres to 100 kms.
It would be interesting to hear the pros and cons of both of those bikes. They're so different, but both easily capable of handling any level of street and trails (not motocross, of course). So, why did you each choose your particular bike and what do you think about the other?
I really like my NC. I would say the only con is that it’s quite light and it is windy almost all the time in Nova Scotia making it tricky to stay on the road. My buddy thinks the Kawi engine is too small for the type of riding we do. Rarely he jumps on the highway as it’s revs at 7000 when going 100 Kmph. As with most bikes, it always depends on what you want to do with it. I like touring and going long distances and the NC is well suited for that
Nice 👍
👍🏻🙂
I missed the cat the first time. Lol. Course there was a cat. U take it home?
Thankfully no! We still have the 2 from the Philippines. lol
Hey bud! Yes Keith is from Petawawa. I served there a couple of years. Keith is there most of the winter
You even got one of my favorite dive buddies keith ewing
Great video Rob. Looks like I missed a great time
I just bought my first Adventure bike. Always a nice ride along the coast.
You are so right. We have amazing rides along the ocean here in Nova Scotia
I love mine. Im using it both with an acoustic + vocals but as well in conjunction with a Quilter Superblock and an electric guitar and vocals. Great value, especially at the price when compared to other options woth the same power and features. And then the weight makes it a no brainer for the gigging solo musician. Im sure with a more dynamic drummer it would hold down the fort in a band setting too
Well said, Bryan. I have a drummer friend of ,one who has e-drums and has borrowed the amp. Worked well
So did you eat any saurkraut or sausage soup in Slovakia?
Of course!!
Looks like a nice trip
Not quite like those young yahoos in Philippines. More my speed, but still able to kick my arse I'm sure.
I think you need a ROY to play goal!!
Hey Tim. Didn’t have a Roy but our son in law playing net is related to Carey Price. Come on down East and we will put the goalie gear on you so we can get a Roy in net.
nice!
Nice blog!!!!! If you want I can help you to increase subscription and view organically or naturally. Because I am a digital content marketer. Great video Rod. I look forward to diving with you again some time
Thanks, Scott. Sounds like a plan!
Wonderful video 👍 it was a pleasure to dive with you. Best Murielle & Stefan
Thanks much to you both. Good times!
Awesome footage. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Steve!
Nice camp spot.
Yes it was indeed!
Fabulous! Merry Christmas!
Thanks for the video the ride looks awesome. I'm moving to Guatemala City next year and I wanted to ask whether I should ship my motorcycle with me. Is it safe for me to ride around the city and road trip around the country? Thanks!
You should ship your bike, for sure. We didn’t even bother getting a car so just used Uber around the city then rented cars for trips to the coast etc. Motorcycles can lane split there so it’s way quicker in the heavy traffic. I, personally, felt safe touring all around Guatemala. Police do run stops from time to time for motorcyclist so carry a certified copy of your passport and have your papers in order. There are many motorcycle shops for various brands so parts should not be an issue. Once you leave the city limits, the motorcycle experience is amazing. I toured most of the country solo and never had any issues. The ride to Panajachel is a must on a bike. The ride to El Salvador is a great one as well. I am sure you will head to Antigua on the bike for Sunday morning breakfast. Reach out, Wissam, if you have any more questions and I’ll be glad to answer the best that I can.
Love diving Cozumel. We’ve done over 60 dives there over the years.
It’s a truly great dive location, Dave
Hello, Yves. Great point! I’ll keep that in mind. You will find Nova Scotia a wonderful place for your motorcycle experience. The Cabot Trail around Cape Breton is a must. We have many Coastal Routes that have been given names such as Lighthouse Route and Glooscap Trail that you would enjoy. I just got back last week from 3,200 kms on my bike through the Eastern Townships to Ottawa then around past Mont Tremblant through to Quebec City. Wonderful rides in your province. Reach out if you have any questions before your trip East.
Thanks for the vidéos. We’re planning on visiting NS next summer. One simple thing: it would be nice to know the name of some places. Like the name of some road, or the towns or attractions. We are tourists you know!🤣. If you come to Qc, don’t hesitate to contact me. Yves.
I just found your channel. I will subscribe. I have been long haul riding for a decade now.th-cam.com/users/FrontireAdventures

Great video, I am planning on filming my first solo camping trip soon. Great job!
Enjoy and thank you!
Great video. It is well filmed, good music too! Thank you for sharing those beautiful animals 🙏
Thank you!
Really nice video, Rod. The clarity and light are really good - can I ask what your video setup was? thx!
Thanks, Ryan. I have a GoPro Hero 7 with a 650 lumens Sealife underwater light attachment
Another nice video. I'm impressed with your NC750. In fact I'm thinking of selling my Africa Twin and buying an NC. At 74 I'm finding the Africa Twin a but much to handle and the NC looks interesting. Keep em coming.
Thanks Barry. Yes, the Twin is a beast. Too high for me. I’m hoping when the NT1100 comes to Canada that it fits me. Basically an African Twin but a Sports Cruiser. Looks really comfortable
The Green Hornet - Kawasaki Versys X300. Great little bike. Check out my channel that is dedicated to the X300.
Great to see a Nova Scotian making a touring style motorcycle video in the province. One noteworthy item in your video highlights the almost 3rd world condition of our secondary roads here in Nova Scotia. I live in the Port Hawkesbury area of N.S. , ride a Honda Africa Twin. Beautiful scenery but crapy secondary roads which distract from a relaxing scenic riding experience. Anyway , keep up the videos. Waiting to see more.
Thanks Barry! You are right; there are some areas on the back roads where you really have to be careful!
Do you by any chance know where the park is located next to? (Buttermilk, glades etc)
The Expressway
I am an 18 yr old cuban guy living in the US that has big dreams. One day I will have motorcycle, make an impact in society and live as the man I want to become. This video gave a me a lot of emotions. Thank you very much for making it.
That is awesome
You shared with us your love of the beautiful rays we saw… you must go to Rangiroa in the French Polynesian islands northeast of Papeete. Never before have we seen the 12’-15’ wing span of the grand scale cousin of the rays, mantas…gorgeous creatures We would join you & your lovely wife diving there if we can! We enjoyed meeting y’all in Cozumel! Texas pals Steve & Karine
Hi Karine and Steve. I haven’t heard of Rangiroa. Have to check it out. Nice meeting y’all too! Take care
I like your 1 down tee shirt. Hopefully heading to 5 Islands this year. Africa Twin rider from Bridgetown, Annapolis Valley.
Great bike. The shirt was from a fellow rider buddy from down in the US. Camp sight number 93 is the walk-in I was using. If it’s available for your trip, I highly recommend it!
Awesome Video Rod, The view from your campsite, Incredible. I like your style I subbed. 👍
Thanks much!
nice vid! Gives a good impression. I am going to Cozumel in a month and I am looking forward to it.
Enjoy! It’s a wonderful place
Great video Rod. There were a couple of marine creatures that looked like they were saying 'if you get any closer, I'm gonna try and bite ya'.
Saw an Aussie coming out of the hospital with a big bandage on his finger. He said a black tip shark bit him.
Nice. Feels like a time long past.
Born and raised in that neck of the woods Noel Road. Glad you're enjoying it
Beautiful place
Is that an NC750X
Yes indeed. 2019 manual version
